Hey!
As you may have heard, I talked about an event in St. Petersburg that will be hosted on July 28-29th where I wanted to take part in with Lambda Wars.
This was mentioned in the news post following this link:

Lambda Wars was accpeted but I do come with sad news, however, as there are several issues related to the idea of taking part in it.
Last year
Last year was great, as the organization of the event was timed properly, we were given time to fill out the necessary documents and we were even given the equipment for the showcase. Discussing and planning together with the event manager, who was in charge of it all, was smooth, and in case you couldn't bring some of your hardware - the event managers could provide their own equipment just in that matter. All this was deiscussed months before the actual event.
This is where I came to be with my issue. My equipment broke & I didn't have an alternative at that time. Thankfully, the event manager had two laptops with him, one of which he gave to me for showcasing Lambda Wars, and another laptop was brought by a collegue for a similar reason. This allowed me to host a small tournament for two people to play.
This year
Now, what has changed this year is the people who organize the event in general. That is, the managers.
This year, the organization didn't go smooth, and even though I did receive an approval, the approval was so late, I only had less than 24 hours left to fill out the necessary documents + figure out what hardware I would be bringing with me at the same time. The worst part about it is the fact that I don't have a laptop that I could use and was hoping that the managers would provide the necessary equipment for that cause. This is where they denied my request.
I'm sad to say this, but we will have to pass on this year at least.
But there is still hope tho! Another event hosted in either St. Petersburg or Moscow in August this year will take place. This event wont be as big as VK Fest, definitely, but will be made only for the gaming community.
So yeah, all's not lost!
Now moving to the next topic...
I decided to make&post memes genuinely for the community to enjoy the content, in case I can't or don't want to work on the game at some point. So I thought it would be good to maintain the activity and probably share some laughs here, which would seem totally fine to me. This doesn't ping anyone, and you only see news pop up. If they were to flood someone's news feed, sure, that would be an issue but, thankfully, this doesn't happen on Steam News. Some people still disagree, however. This is why I decided to make the following:
A small poll
I saw some comments under some of the memes that I post here sometimes, and decided to see what the community thinks about it. I opened a poll (because you can't do that on Steam, you see).

That's all.
