Thank you all very much for playing the game.
I wanted to let you guys know that I personally won't be able to work on the game till about May-June for several reasons:

• My PC is currently dead (been like this for two months already);
  
• I have to do my thesis;
  
• Work.
  

Sandern is also currently very busy with his other projects, and as you may understand, the mod doesn't provide us anything for a living, so it's a lower priority for us.

Still though, I expect to work on it more when I have the time and resources for that. I love the mod and I wouldn't abandon it like that.

Also we have the community that keeps making maps (someone like MrLazy who made so many maps already, and some other community members are actually beginning on taking their part in this!).

There has been a lot going on lately in this month, such as hosting a mini-conference (not related to Lambda Wars) in a Russian high school and a tournament with a prize pool for players.

For now there's going to be a small patch, next will have an update including MrLazy's new map. For those of you who are curious, feel free to test it on the dev branch!

Changelog:
Balance:
- Changed the prices for control points on Lvl 1 and Lvl 2. Advanced/Professional players requested that the prices are changed for better competitive gameplay.

Misc:
- Added badges for tournament players who participated and those who received respective places.

I've also included loading screens from 2017 contest, but they currently don't work as Sandern hasn't had time to work on LW yet, so that will be done later.

Two weeks ago, during the New Year, we hosted a tournament with a prize pool that was announced only in Discord. The experiment went well and so now we have a new tournament coming in hosted by one of our community members, Wizard Cat!

We are getting closer to releasing a very important update with some other changes.

Right now we have an update ready with some fixes and balance changes which hopefully will change the gameplay for hardcore players :)

Here is the changelog:

Lambda Wars Update 09 November 2018 (3.11a)

Balance:

• Antlion population requirement removed
  
• Shotgun unlock time increased from 20 to 45 seconds
  
• AR2 unlock time increased from 20 to 90 seconds
  
• Weapon upgrade price for Combine SG changed from 10/25 to 10/30
  
• Rescaled AR2 and SG combine prices from 50/10 and 45/5 to 45/15 and 40/5
  
• Manhack price increased from 10/0 to 10/3
  
• Rescaled Power Generator generation frequency from 0.15 per 3 sec tick to 0.2 per 4 sec tick
  
• Rebel Partisan health increased from 50 to 75
  
• Rebel Marksman/Veteran (should I just rename it back to Veteran?) pop increased to 3
  
• Population from Combine Elite and Rebel Flamer increased from 2 to 3
  
• Metropolice and Metropolice SMG movement speeds were swapped (pistol runs faster now)
  
• Added synth factory requirement for researching Strider upgrade
  
• Barrels from barrel trap tower now cost 1 scrap
  
• Reduced bonus damage from RPG and Flamethrower against building
  
• Sniper attack speed slightly increased
  
  Frag grenade:
  
• Grenade now doesn't cost anything to toss
  
• Reduced cooldown from 120 to 40 seconds
  
  Bugs:
  
• Mortar no longer fires after death
  
• Medic being able to heal globally
  
• Dog being healed by Combine aid station
  
• Stalker attack working in bursts instead of continuous attacks
  
• Rollermine bleed effect
  
• Dog & Hunter jump fix
  
• Strider showing bleed effects
  
• Dog having weird bleed effects and loop sounds
  
  Rollermine:
  
• Now attempts to hit its enemy
  
  Maps:
  
• Various changes for 90% of the maps. Mostly navigation and balance-wise though. Credit goes to Mr. Lazy.
  
  Misc:
  
• New Veteran/Marksman unit icon
