Even More Scenarios!
Last week was an exciting one—we finally revealed the SubwaySim 2 release date and dropped a thrilling new trailer! But of course, that wasn’t all. There are still a few more updates coming your way before launch.
That’s why we’re taking another look at scenarios. We already promised that Hamburg fans won’t be left out—and today we’re delivering. But first, let’s check back in on Berlin.
Chaos Weather
What a storm! Berlin is in full-on chaos today. Due to severe weather, the bridges over the Landwehr Canal and the Spree are closed. As a result, the U3 can only operate between Schlesisches Tor and Möckernbrücke. Get ready for some short turnarounds!

You’ll start with an empty HK train at Warschauer Straße, head to Schlesisches Tor to pick up your first passengers, and then continue to Möckernbrücke. Once everyone’s offboarded, it’s back to Schlesisches Tor again.

But the weather just won’t let up! Dispatch decides to shut down service on the U3 entirely. That means your final task is to return the train to the Warschauer Straße depot and end your shift.
Depot Clean-Up
This scenario takes us back to Hamburg, where you begin your shift as a floating driver. Right after you clock in, the depot contacts you: several trains need servicing but are still parked at Saarlandstraße yard. Time to head over from the Barmbek depot.

First, you’ll need to decouple a DT5 double unit, then take one of them out to Barmbek. After reversing direction, it’s off to Saarlandstraße where you’ll couple onto a waiting DT5. But be careful—you’re only supposed to take the front train! That means hopping out and decoupling the rear unit.

Of course, there’s another train waiting on the neighbouring track. Once you’ve collected everything and hopped back in up front, head back to Barmbek and park the trains on the assigned track. But your shift isn’t quite over yet—a final shunting task awaits, giving you a chance to explore the new Hellbrookstraße (Bba) depot to the fullest.
