Mermaid? No, it's a Rusalka!
In the Tales of Old Rus, rusalkas embody all the darkest and most malevolent traits. Because they don’t have males of their own kind, these unfortunate female spirits, who wish to "live like everyone else", lure other men. They are rather foolish and therefore can accidentally kill someone out of carelessness.

Rusalkas by Roman Papsuev have an interesting appearance: long hair with ends pointing upwards as if they are always underwater; bright stolen earrings, seaweed wrapped around their necks like jewelry, and deep black eyes. It is their eyes combined with their voice that serve as the main tool of hypnosis.

At the same time, rusalkas have rough, hard skin and sharp claws, meaning that if they do not achieve their goal through enchanting singing, they can resort to hand-to-hand combat.
In the first game based on the Tales of Old Rus, rusalkas will be exactly as Roman described them: beautiful, alluring, and dangerous. Just trust us: you wouldn't want to encounter them face-to-face!
