Hi everyone, we really need your advice.

Right now we are thinking about improvements for the path selection screen and we have some doubts. The struggle for good UI/UX never ends!



We notice that over time, the value of the encounter text descriptions drops and the focus shifts to combat conditions only.

On the other hand, the point of reading is always there - it hides information about who the player can encounter. And technically it can be important for players who try to avoid someone or find someone (for a bestiary for example).

Hello everyone!

We've added a major update to the beta branch.

Here's a quick summary of the key changes:

• Steam Deck and gamepad support added (hooray!)
  
• New hero and their path added
  
• 10 new general cards added
  
• Rebalanced relics and bosses
  
• Journey map added
  

Recommendations before switching to the beta version:

Make a backup of your saves. Here’s how:
Press the Win + R keys, paste C:\Users\%Username%\AppData\LocalLow\1CGS\Deathless in the window that appears, and press Enter.
Copy the contents of the folder to another location.
When returning to the standard version of the game, replace the files with the saved ones.
Please disable cloud saves for the game (Steam Cloud). This can be done in the game properties, under the "General" tab.

How to join the open beta test:
Open Steam and right-click on "Deathless".
Select "Properties..." and go to the "Betas" tab.
Select the branch named public_beta from the dropdown menu.
Now you can choose this branch as the main one on your computer. You can play after updating the client.
If you find a bug, please send it along with the log to this thread (or via email).

How to get game logs:
Press the Win + R keys, paste C:\Users\%Username%\AppData\LocalLow\1CGS\Deathless in the window that appears, and press Enter.
In the opened folder, select all files and add them to a single archive. You can use the free program 7-Zip for this.
Upload the archive to any file-sharing service and send the link.
