New update (1.1.0)
A new update for They Can Fart is available.

Here’s what’s been added:

Achievements 🏆
We know you've been waiting a long time for this, and here they are: 14 achievements to unlock. Some are pretty straightforward, while others… well… you'll see.
A New Map 🪐
This is the fifth map in the game, adding more depth and variety to matches.
Gameplay Changes and New Options 🔧
• For balance, the respawn shield now deactivates immediately if a player dashes, grabs, shoots, or plants the seed.
 • Added an option to display a glow behind the player, making it easier to see them in action.
 • Option to disable hints.
 • Option to always show player names.

To celebrate the update, we're hosting a new 'Fight the Devs' session this Thursday, 09/05 at 18:00 UTC. Get a chance to beat us at our own game! Join our Discord for more info and to find other players to team up with.

THEY CAN FART is leaving EARLY ACCESS!

https://store.steampowered.com/app/2739900/They_Can_Fart/
We're happy to announce that the final version of They Can Fart is now live!

For full details on the update, you can read our patch notes 📃
Play against bots to improve your skills! 🤖
You can now launch a game on your own and watch 5 silly but terribly efficient little robots try to take the seed out of your hands.

In addition, and this is a big change, from now on all incomplete public games will be filled with bots, to ensure the best experience for players, which for us is 3 vs 3.

However, it is still possible to play with or without bots by creating a private room.
Playable tutorial 🎮
The second major addition to version 1.0.0 is a step-by-step tutorial, allowing you to get to grips with the controls, objectives and many features. If you're already a veteran player, in the absence of a "race mode", you can always try to "speedrun" the tutorial!

On the other hand, we're keeping the wordy "How to Play" guide, since it still delivers fundamental elements that we weren't able to implement in the playable tutorial.
And for those who are curious... 👀
If you're interested in They Can Fart, we've produced a presskit (for the video game media), which could be a good opportunity for you to learn more about the project and its artistic direction!

This is NOT the end ❕
You read that correctly.
This is probably not the last update for They Can Fart.
There are still a few little features we'd like to add to make the game look its best.

In the future, updates will be much less frequent, as we no longer set ourselves deadlines for these various additions. It's been a tough month and a half, so it's time for us to slow things down a bit!

♥ THANK YOU ♥

This official release is a big step for us. After Toasterball, it's our second game released on Steam, we're so happy and so proud.

We'd like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support and for following this adventure on our social media.

Let's not forget the "Fight the devs Thursdays", which were fantastic and far too much fun not to do it again in the future. Feel free to join our Discord server if you don't want to miss future events of this kind. Thank you to all the participants for these wild games, these memories, these videos...!

It's time for us to move on to a new project, but as mentioned above, we've still got a few additions to make to They Can Fart! Stay tuned!

Wishing you a lot of fun!
See you next time ♥
Moving danger zones 🔴
Already a little too familiar with red zones? Well, bad news for you: now they can move!

This week, we introduce you to a new map in the form of an obsctacle course, where patience and timing are key (which is totally manageable when you're weighed down and chased by 3 little killer creatures, isn't it?)

And if stunts aren't your thing, there's a safer path, where the absence of gravity will turn players into billiard balls. Make your choice!

As always, please let us know what you think of this new map as you riiiiiide into the (moving) danger zones! 🎵
New match hints 📑
In addition to last week's objective hints, from now on, when you hold the seed in your "hand", an icon will show you not only the position of your homeplanet, but also where to plant the seed once you're near it.

The next step will be to calculate and show you the quickest route to take to your homeplanet, and press a button to make your character follow it automatically (just kidding)
Team killing now counts 😱
If you were once the kind of player who constantly took out your partners, the “-53” on your kill count should now betray your deepest intentions to other players.
They Can Fart officially released on June 14 🎉🔥
For this final week, we're going to pull out all the stops.
For this official release, you should finally have a playable tutorial: a little step-by-step guide to all the game's mechanics (we're keeping our bible so you can appreciate all the gameplay details)

Regarding the AIs, the work is huge, but we're on to something! The risk is that they'll be a bit goofy at first. I hope we'll find time to improve them in the meantime, haha!

As always, you can follow the roadmap in real time ► here

Finally, more than ever, we're counting on you to share the news of the release, and invite all your buddies to our Thursday evening get-togethers.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you all for attending these events, which are a real pleasure to share with you (only when you win, however). And thank you for your support and the content you create around the game, it really moves us! ♥
Bumpers 💫
This week, not only is a new map added to the list, but also a new gameplay element: bumpers!

Whether on the surface of planets or floating in the empty void of space, these little bouncy pink bubbles reject anything that touches them. It's a way of getting around that's as fast as it is dangerous, but it can also be very useful for getting rid of the corpses of your fallen enemies!

As usual, feel free to give us your feedback on this, as it's very important for us to balance our maps as much as possible. (even if it means we'll have to remove your secret passages that allow you to win every time)
Match hints 📑
In order to guide players, especially in their first games, sentences describing the objectives are now displayed when it's time to look for the seed and when it's time to plant it. In a future update, these hints - both the sentences and the keybinding hints - will be removable via the options.
Celebrate it with a fart 💨
A crucial feature that was sorely lacking in the game: being able to fart on the end screen to celebrate a victory (or express displeasure at a defeat)
We're very pleased with this addition. With this brick, we're nearing the end of early access.

(just kidding, there's still so much to do...)

What's next
Next week, just like this one, we're likely to have a new map and its special feature. We'll keep it a surprise!

The playable tutorial is still on hold for now.

On the other hand, the AI is coming a long nicely. We've already got little guys moving around by themselves, and an automated pathfinding system. We can't wait to see these creature make their own decisions and attempt some insanely dangerous stunts!

Don't forget our weekly gathering every Thursdays at 7pm UTC!
Meet us on Discord and get your butt kicked!
New map 🪐
This is it: from now on, we'll try to bring you one new map a week!
In order to offer you different ways of playing (by reducing space, creating paths, allowing you to perform your best stunts), the maps are hand-designed and will be picked randomly at the start of each match.

By the way, feel free to give us feedback on your experience, we'll be happy to modify the maps accordingly.
Enhanced Feedbacks 🤯
Now that the main gameplay is well in place, we're slowly moving into a phase of "polishing", i.e. little details that make the game prettier, but also help you as players to better understand what's going on in the game.
This week, for example, the addition of the screenshake makes it easier to understand where damage comes from, and the animations in the kill feed better mark the fact that a point has been scored!
Players in the Credits 📖
Last but not least, we've added (in the best possible way) the names of participants in the last "Fight the devs Thursday" to the credits. We'd like to thank them again for coming, and hope to see you all there tonight!

What's next
Unfortunately, we're behind schedule on the playable tutorial and we can't guarantee that it will be ready for the next update. We've also just started enemy's AI.
Which means that next week we'll have at least one new map, but who knows... maybe we'll find time to add another little feature 🙄
