Small Updates and Future Plans

Long time no see! Recently, I’ve been focused on porting Magibrick (mobile and NS versions) and experimenting with new game ideas, which is why updates have been delayed.

This patch mainly includes:

  • Minor bug fixes
  • UI optimizations and display improvements


Planned Updates (within 1-2 months)

  • New cards
  • New boss encounters
  • A fresh gameplay mode

Content Update

Thank you for your support and for playing! Here are the main updates in this version:

  • Added some special and powerful cards (featuring cats and dogs), which will appear as rewards after boss battles.
  • If you reached Chapter 2 or further in the previous run, you can now choose a special "Helper" at the start of a new run.
  • Adjusted some card stats and fixed a few bugs.


This update introduces many new abilities, which may lead to bugs we couldn’t catch during testing. We hope you’ll share your feedback, and we greatly appreciate your support!

Update Announcement

Thank you all for your support and for playing the game! Over the past two weeks since launch, we’ve received a lot of feedback. We’ve noticed that some levels’ difficulty and the sudden attacks from late-game enemies have been the main factors leading to poor player experiences. To address this, we’ve spent significant time optimizing the difficulty of all levels and rebalancing the abilities of enemy bricks.

Here are the main updates in this patch:

1. Optimized the difficulty of all levels, especially in the early stages.
2. Introduced a new Countdown mechanic for enemies. Some important enemy abilities will now use this
new system, giving players more time to prepare and counter them.
3.Adjusted certain cards. The Abyssal Mammoth has regained its two tentacles, and the Stone Lion no longer spawns a strange “middle stone lion” after upgrading.
4.Adjusted the "Sprite Trials" . Players can now reset the challenges unlimited times, and the rewards have been optimized to guarantee an upgraded version of the Sprite card.
5.Fixed some known bugs.

Lastly, I’ve noticed that many players have mentioned “relics” and “shops.” I’d like to apologize, as from the very beginning of this project, I decided not to confine the game to the framework of Slay the Spire. Thus, these two systems were never planned. However, “relics” may appear in some other form in the future, as the current first-round rewards do feel a bit lackluster.

bug fix

Fixed some data problems caused after restarting within a single game.
When starting a new round of adventure, some upgraded Nyx will have display errors and not reset.
Note: This update may affect existing archives! If there is a problem with the archive, please join the group to give feedback and I will deal with the problem as soon as possible!

Bug Fixes

Fixed game crashes after acquired all achievements.

Fixed game freezes on the second stage of Final Boss fight.
