Update Announcement
Thank you all for your support and for playing the game! Over the past two weeks since launch, we’ve received a lot of feedback. We’ve noticed that some levels’ difficulty and the sudden attacks from late-game enemies have been the main factors leading to poor player experiences. To address this, we’ve spent significant time optimizing the difficulty of all levels and rebalancing the abilities of enemy bricks.
Here are the main updates in this patch:
1. Optimized the difficulty of all levels, especially in the early stages.
2. Introduced a new Countdown mechanic for enemies. Some important enemy abilities will now use this
new system, giving players more time to prepare and counter them.
3.Adjusted certain cards. The Abyssal Mammoth has regained its two tentacles, and the Stone Lion no longer spawns a strange “middle stone lion” after upgrading.
4.Adjusted the "Sprite Trials" . Players can now reset the challenges unlimited times, and the rewards have been optimized to guarantee an upgraded version of the Sprite card.
5.Fixed some known bugs.
Lastly, I’ve noticed that many players have mentioned “relics” and “shops.” I’d like to apologize, as from the very beginning of this project, I decided not to confine the game to the framework of Slay the Spire. Thus, these two systems were never planned. However, “relics” may appear in some other form in the future, as the current first-round rewards do feel a bit lackluster.
