🏒Demo Patch 2 (2025. 11. 14)

[p]Hello, Everyone![/p][p]Thank you for playing the Pengpong demo through various channels and for sharing so much feedback and so many suggestions.[/p][p][/p][p]Based on the many comments we received after Demo Patch 1, we’ve made the following additional adjustments.
Please continue to share your play experiences, impressions, and opinions with us through any channel you prefer.[/p][p][/p][p]Patch Notes:[/p]
  • [p]Increased \[Recoil Jones]’s base attack damage from 55 to 77 (+40%).[/p]
  • [p]Increased the damage reduction applied by \[Recoil Jones]’s “Reverse Split” from 10% to 30%.[/p]
  • [p]Increased the attack speed penalty of \[Recoil Jones]’s “Precision Shot” from 30% to 40%.[/p]
  • [p]Increased the damage reduction applied by \[Recoil Jones]’s “Double Dealer” from 20% to 30%.[/p]
  • [p]Reduced the boss HP in Demo Stage Difficulty 2 and Difficulty 3, and lengthened the interval at which they summon additional monsters.[/p]
  • [p]Increased the effectiveness of the \[Pickup Radius] level-up reward from 5/10/15/20/25% to 15/30/45/60/75%.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where the game would sometimes move on to the next wave even when the current wave had not been cleared.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where regular monsters would continue to spawn even after the boss had been defeated.[/p]
  • [p]Added a new visual effect when a roulette pattern is completed.[/p]

[p]Hi everyone![/p][p]Since releasing the demo, we’ve received a ton of feedback across many channels—thank you for the thoughtful reports and suggestions.[/p][p][/p][p]Based on your input, we’ve fixed bugs and improved quality-of-life items. We’ll keep listening and iterating.[/p][p][/p][p]Patch Notes:[/p]
  • [p]Increased overall XP gain by ~5% so you can reach your third Hyper Capacity faster and keep the game tempo snappier.[/p]
  • [p]Buffed the Slot Machine “Jackpot” chance and also retuned the explosion chance. (Expect more dopamine-soaked runs; we’ll keep tuning with your feedback.)[/p]
  • [p]Enhanced visuals for the SNAP-EDGE α weapon.[/p]
  • [p]Adjusted scoring so higher difficulties can yield higher scores.[/p]

  • [p]Fixed an issue where \[Stained Rope Grip] applied higher-than-intended values. It now matches design intent.[/p]
  • [p]\[Anchovy Can] is now limited to 1 per run.[/p]
  • [p]Corrected \[Incursion]: its penalty was lower than intended; it now applies properly.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed \[Rage] not functioning correctly.[/p]

  • [p]Shop > Slot Machine: fixed an issue where the win jingle’s pitch didn’t reset after a payout.[/p]
  • [p]Hyper Capacity – selection screen: images for already-acquired Hyper Capacities now display correctly.[/p]
  • [p]End-of-run results screen: Hyper Capacity images now display correctly.[/p]
  • [p]Detailed Stats panel: fixed certain stats appearing as 0% (effects were working; this was display-only).[/p]
  • [p]End-of-run “currency gained”: fixed a mismatch between the displayed amount and the actual payout.[/p]
  • [p]Various presentation/FX polish updates.[/p]
