This one is a straight follow-up to our last news, and is just as exciting. The number of enthusiasts that are waiting for Asgard's Fall is wildly growing - and we're truly thankful.

We are heavily working on the new version after we've changed the engine from Unity to Game Maker Studio 2 a while ago. Things are coming together and we're constantly changing stuff there, adding new things here...it's so much fun! ːsteamhappyː

Soooo, 20k wishlists already...wow, just wow! Stay tuned for more stuff to come.

while we're heavily working on the next updates, we just wanted to give a big shoutout to more than 10.000 godslayers out there that are supporting us by wishlisting our game Asgard's Fall. We are beyond thankful and excited for the journey ahead.

First things first, because I don't want to put you on the rack any longer: Asgard's Fall: Origins will see its release this Saturday, January 27th already! Mark your calendars, everyone!

Furthermore, we can proudly announce that we found a like-minded publisher from Germany who's gonna help us bringing Asgard's Fall to the next level.

Welcome aboard, Assemble Entertainment! Our co-operation already came to fruition. And we can't wait to see where this fabulous journey is bringing us in the future. Asgard, we're coming!

Also, you might have noticed this while checking out Asgard's Fall and Asgard's Fall: Origins here on Steam. We got a graphical upgrade, and we absolutely love it. What about you?

We thought that we definitely are in need of a stylish and fitting artwork for our little gem here. And together with the exceptionally talented artist Veihart from Vietnam, we managed to bring the style and love for this project to paper.

[h2]Where are we development-wise?[/h2]

We've recently transitioned from Unity to GameMaker Studio 2! Our priority has always been to provide a safe and stable environment for our game's development. Recent events around Unity raised concerns, leading us to explore alternatives. And we believe we've found the perfect match with GameMaker Studio 2!


[h2]What to expect in the new version?[/h2]

New and Improved Mechanics: We're introducing crafting and gathering systems! Collect resources and craft items that will aid you in your adventures.

Revamped Skill Tree: A completely overhauled skill tree with new and more powerful options and strategies.

New Characters: Introducing new Characters completely changing the way the game is played.

Sword Engraving System: A unique feature to enhance your character! Customize your sword with powerful engravings that grant special abilities and bonuses.

Much More: There are more things we're discussing and will give you more insight into once we've decided what will and won't make it into the game.



Oh, one more thing: to shorten the waiting time, we've decided to release the latest Unity version for free soon - like very soon. The version is called Asgard's Fall: Origins from now on.

Yes, you heard right - FOR FREE. The version does have some limitations of course, since we weren't finished yet. But, we hope you'll enjoy the Asgard's Fall: Origins build in all its glory and the flaws it still might have.
