I has some exciting news about our next plans that we promised to share.
First, our first closed pre-alpha test, which ran from May 8th to 11th, has concluded, and we sincerely thank you for your valuable feedback.
Your enthusiasm for The Midnight Walkers, as shown in the survey, has been incredibly encouraging for our dev team!

In response to the question, "Are you interested in playing The Midnight Walkers again during its next test or launch?" an impressive 98.9% of users expressed their willingness to participate!
To the question, "Would you recommend The Midnight Walkers to a friend or acquaintance for the next test or launch?" 95.21% of users gave positive feedback!
We are committed to meeting your expectations and delivering a high-quality game.
Now, let's dive into our major update plans!
[h2]#1 Zombie Updates[/h2]
[h3]AI and Action and Motion[/h3]
- Renewing the zombie AI and improving animations to offer a more engaging combat experience with zombies. Hunting zombies alone will be a delightful game experience.
- All zombie animations will be updated by motion capture.
[h3]New Zombies and Powerful Boss Zombies[/h3]
- Howler will be added. This attracts other zombies and immobilizes survivors with its screams.
- Boss zombie will appear in the hidden area of the new underground parking lot. (Need a security card to access this area)
- Runner and Walker zombies will be redesigned.
[h2]#2 Map and Level Design[/h2]
[h3]Addition of New Concept Maps (Floors)[/h3]
- New maps, such as the Lounge Club and Underground Parking Lot, will be added.
- In-progress Shopping Mall map will also be completed.
[h3]Level Design and Distinct Atmosphere[/h3]
- Each floor will have a distinct theme with unique lighting and ambiance.
- Hidden farming points and unique loot specific to each floor's concept.
[h2]#3 Enhanced Farming Experience[/h2]
[h3]Various Farming Boxes[/h3]
- Add a variety of boxes that fit the apocalypse setting, such as toolboxes, weapon boxes, military boxes, and body bags.
[h3]Farming System[/h3]
- Reduce the interaction time with boxes and add item appraisal times.
- Circular icons will appear when interactable boxes or items are nearby, making them easier to spot.
- The background of item icons in the inventory will reflect their rarity.
[h2]#4 Escape System[/h2]
[h3]Extraction System for Escape Pods[/h3]
- When an escape pod appears, you can extract a [Power Cartridge] from it, allowing you to activate a deactivated escape pod and escape at any time.
- Use the extracted [Power Cartridge] on a deactivated escape pod to escape with your squad members immediately.
[h3]Public Escape Elevator[/h3]
- Hidden emergency escape elevator that can accommodate up to three people will be added.
- Essential items will be required to activate it.
[h3]Container System[/h3]
- Even if you can't escape, the container will secure your important items.
[h2]#5 New Weapons and Equipment[/h2]
[h3]Character Appearance Changes[/h3]
- Your character's appearance will now change based on the armor equipped on each part, allowing you to gauge the level of your opponent's armor during encounters.
[h3]New Weapons[/h3]
- New weapons such as the trash spear and dagger will be added.
- Throwable weapons like Molotov cocktails and additional trap items will be added.
- Class-specific weapons will be more detailed.
[h3]Advanced Balancing of Weapons[/h3]
- Rebalance existing weapons in addition to introducing new ones.
- Fix issues where ranged weapons dealt abnormal damage and adjust the overall balance.
[h2]#6 New Class and Balance Updates[/h2]
[h3]New Class: [Bartender][/h3]
- Bartender who makes special drinks using folk remedies and secret recipes will be introduced.
- The special drinks made with the bartender's secret recipes in their exclusive flask will empower squads and inflict pain on enemies.
[h3]Renewal and Advanced Balancing of Existing Classes[/h3]
- The Technician will be renamed.
- Various active skills and perks will be added to all classes.
- Minimize unreasonable gameplay experiences by rebalancing the overall PVE and PVP balance.
[h2]#7 Out Game Content[/h2]
[h3]Marketplace System[/h3]
- Survivors will be able to sell and purchase various equipment and material items through the marketplace.
[h3]Crafting System[/h3]
- The existing crafting system will be improved to become a crafting workshop.
- More diverse equipment and items can be created by collecting unique materials.
[h2]#8 Matchmaking Rule Updates[/h2]
[h3]Improved Solo and Duo/Trio Matching[/h3]
- Solo and duo/trio matchmaking will be separated, but solo players can join duo/trio matches.
- Solo matches will start with fewer players, and the floor range will be smaller accordingly.
- Example: Duo/Trio matches use 10 floors, while solo matches use 5-7 floors (TBD).

[h3]Sound Play Experience[/h3]
- Fine-tune all elements sound balancing and spatial awareness to enable more detailed sound play.
[h3]UI/UX[/h3]
- Minimize unnecessary operations and redesign the UX for intuitive controls.
- UI improvements will also be made alongside the UX enhancements.
[h3] Bullet Removal Feature[/h3]
- Removal of bullets from loaded guns.
