1st Public Playtest Update Notes
Hello Survivors,
We are excited to announce the new features and improvements coming in the upcoming first public playtest. Please see the details below:
[h3][New Zombies][/h3]
● Riot Walker & Delivery Runner: Encounter zombies equipped with riot gear and helmets.
● These new zombies have enhanced defense and attack capabilities.
[h3][New Class: Bartender (In Development)][/h3]
● Experience the prototype of the new Bartender class.
● Use the “Drink Mixing” skill to change the flow of battle. ● Customize this skill in the Unique Skill tab.
[h3][Lock & Unlock System][/h3]
● Discover locked vaults and doors! Find keys and key cards to open these areas and uncover rare loot and hidden threats in the Liberty Grand Center.
[h3][UI & HUD Improvements][/h3]
● Improved tooltips now display key bindings, and the HUD shows item rarity and stack count, making gear management smoother.
[h3][Inventory & Trading Adjustments][/h3]
● Items obtained through containers are non-tradable by default, and their sale value is reduced.
● However, successfully escaping with these items will restore their original state, allowing them to be traded.
[h3][Game Guide & Tooltip Update][/h3]
● A new in-game guide has been added to help players easily understand game controls and rules.
[h3][New Lobby Scene & Visual Updates][/h3]
● Enjoy a new lobby scene, updated skill icons, and perk visuals that better represent the dark and gritty atmosphere of The Midnight Walkers.
[h3][Crafting System][/h3]
● Improved crafting system: Crafted items will now appear in the new “Completed Crafting” section. Make sure to collect your crafted items!
In addition to the updates listed above, various other content has been improved and adjusted. Join us for the first public test starting in just 5 days to experience the new content firsthand, and please share your feedback with us on The Midnight Walkers Discord. Your input is invaluable to the future development of the game.
