Dev Log#15

If you thought it was just another dangerous zombie, this devlog will reveal the Spitter's true power.
More than just a toxic liquid spewing entity, the Spitter is designed to challenge your strategic thinking and cooperation.
1. The Spitter’s Background
The Liberty Grand Center may have seemed like a mere refuge to survivors, but in truth, it was nothing less than Mr. Nobody’s experimental lab.
For those who sought hope, it became a place of despair, pain, and horrific experiments.

The Spitter is the result of experiments conducted on individuals who sought refuge but were physically weaker or injured.
After successfully transforming stronger individuals into the melee-focused Charger zombie, Mr. Nobody and his organization began focusing their experiments on long-range toxic capabilities, resulting in the creation of the Spitter.

Unlike the Charger, who embodies physical dominance, the Spitter is a product of the same experiments designed to maximize viral diversity, targeting even the weaker survivors.
This divergence has led the Spitter to evolve into a completely different kind of threat.
Its ability to generate toxic substances has made it a subject of fear among survivors.

The Spitter was no accident—it was purposefully designed by Mr. Nobody as a toxic-focused “experimental subject.”
According to records left in the Liberty Grand Center, this toxic substance wasn’t just meant to harm survivors but was also used to study the virus’s potential for environmental spread.
2. Combat Tips for Facing the Spitter
Fighting the Spitter requires a completely different approach compared to other zombies. It presents a unique and nerve-wracking challenge.

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
※ The video was recorded in a test environment and may show some stuttering.
Please note that the actual gameplay environment is expected to run smoothly.
● Long-Range Attacks: The Spitter applies constant pressure by spewing toxic liquid from a distance. Avoid its range whenever possible.
● Health Management: If you’re hit by its toxic attack, you’ll suffer from a poisoning effect, taking continuous damage. Bring healing items and try to avoid direct contact.
● Final Explosion: Upon death, the Spitter unleashes a toxic explosion. If you’re within the blast radius, you’ll take significant damage. Maintain a safe distance as it nears death.
3. Are You Ready to Face the Spitter?
The Spitter brings new terror and excitement to the world of The Midnight Walkers.
Facing it will test your strategy and teamwork like never before.

Experience the Spitter in action during the upcoming final public test this February!

Dev Log #14

Introducing the new zombie "Charger," designed to fulfill the challenging desires of survivors like you.
This is not just a powerful zombie it’s a formidable foe that skilled survivors may find difficult to defeat.

The Charger is a mid boss tier zombie with an intense presence.
Each of its attacks is a serious threat, and without teamwork among squads, it is nearly impossible to take it down.
From its appearance to its abilities, everything about the Charger is designed to make your heart race.
1. The Charger’s Background
As the virus caused the world to collapse, people sought refuge in what they believed to be a safe haven, Liberty Grand Center, located in Gold County.
But sadly, this was no ordinary refuge.
This location was controlled by "Mr. Nobody" and his organization, who seemed to be protecting survivors but were secretly conducting experiments behind the scenes.

Among those who sought safety at the refuge, individuals who enjoyed sports, were physically fit, or had strong physiques like rugby players became prime candidates for experiments.
For survivors with families, they were given the harsh choice: “Your life or your family’s?” On the other hand, for those without families, weaker individuals or even children were used as leverage, subjecting them to torture and threats to force participation in the experiments.

Mr. Nobody’s goal was not only to create powerful zombies but also to study the various reactions of the virus through specific zombie transformations.
The results of these experiments produced creatures with entirely different traits and abilities compared to standard walkers.
Of these, the Charger was one of the most dangerous and powerful outcomes.
2. Charger’s Skills and Abilities
The Charger possesses extraordinary abilities that exceed your expectations. Its charge skill is not only a threat but also a game-changer in battles. Its devastating attacks bring both tension and excitement.

● Key Features
- Close-range attacks
- Charging ability
- Charge combo
- Damage: Instant damage and knockback effect
- Health: Significantly higher than standard zombies
- Speed: Moderate movement speed; rapid acceleration during charges
3. How to Deal with the Charger
Battling the Charger without cooperation or experience can be extremely challenging.
Understanding its patterns and devising effective strategies will be key to success.
Prepare strong equipment and skills.
Most importantly, learning when to back off is the ultimate key to dealing the Charger.
4. Prepare to Face the Charger
The Charger is here to make your heart pound and ignite your desire for a challenge.
Its overwhelming presence is not just that of an enemy—it’s a monumental challenge you must overcome, and that is our goal.
