Welcome to our seventh monthly dev update for Exotica Pet Shop Simulator 2! We’re still hard at work fine - tuning everything for the big release, and we’re thrilled to share the latest features we’ve been crafting. From colorful stands to rare snake hatchlings, there’s a lot to look forward to - let’s dive into what’s new this month!

[h2]Python Egg Breeding – 🥚Hatch Something Special![/h2]
We’re making great progress on the snake breeding system, and it’s shaping up to be super exciting:

• Hatch Your Own Snakes: Pair up compatible reptiles, wait for them to lay eggs, and watch the hatching process in real time. We’re still tweaking the timing to get it just right!
  
• Rare Colors & Patterns: There’s a chance for unique color mutations to appear - they’re rare, but spotting one will feel so rewarding!
  
• Gameplay Hint: Keep your snakes’ habitat comfy and their needs met to boost breeding success. We’re also experimenting with how care might influence rare hatchling odds - more on that soon!

[h2]Customizable Stands – More Options to Play With![/h2]

• Color & Wood Variations: You asked for more variety, and we’ve delivered! We’ve expanded the color palette and added new wooden finishes for a natural look.
  
• On - the - Fly Adjustments: Already set up a stand? You can swap its design without messing up your shop layout - perfect for experimenting!
  
• Dev Tip: Try using bright, bold colors to make your rarest animals stand out. It’s a great way to catch visitors’ eyes!

[h2]Patterned Pathways – Step Up Your Style![/h2]

• New Sidewalk Types: We’ve added more patterns like classic tiles and decorative stonework to give your shop that extra flair.
  
• Streamlined Construction: We’ve been optimizing the construction mode to make updating your walkways smoother and more intuitive. It’s feeling really good in testing!
  
• Design Insight: Coordinating your pathway patterns with your stands can create a seamless, immersive vibe that visitors will love.

[h2]Six Custom Signboards – Add Some Personality![/h2]

• Versatile Designs: Choose from six signboard styles - think rustic, modern, whimsical, and more. We’re still designing a few extra styles for later!
  
• Personal Text: Add your shop’s name, advertise daily deals, or write a warm welcome message for your customers.
  
• Pro Tip: Swap your signboard style for in - game events or promotions - it’s an easy way to keep your shop feeling fresh and festive.

We know you’re eager to start running your own exotic pet shop, and we’re so excited to announce that a free playable demo is on the way! Here’s what you can expect:

• Core Mechanics: Get a taste of the basics - breeding, feeding, and managing your shop.
  
• Select Animals: You won’t see the full roster just yet, but you’ll get to care for a few fan - favorite critters.
  
• Early Feedback: We’ll be looking for your thoughts to help us polish the game before the full release. Your input means the world to us!
