Wild Assault Dev Log #31: Update on Recent R&D

[p][/p][p][/p][p]Hello Wild Ones, TGIF![/p][p]We'd like to take some time to talk more with you about the changes we implemented through this week's updates.[/p][p]First of all, a little background here:[/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p][p]As you've read, before deploying the weekly update, we conducted our balancing plan based on the following factors:[/p]

  • [p]Internal Discussions[/p]
  • [p]Feasibility Validations[/p]
  • [p]Internal Tests[/p]
[p][/p][p]A lot of work has been done behind the scenes, and that's how we carried out the plan and made the announcement in previous Steam News posts. However, what's more important is how these adjustments truly perform in the live environment.[/p][p][/p][p]After announcing the adjustment plan, we continued further testing of its performance while collecting your feedback through multiple social media platforms. This allowed us to more clearly see that certain adjustments were not performing as expected in the actual game. Therefore, we modified the weekly update announcement accordingly, based on our live experience and data.[/p][p][/p][p]Once again, we believe that constant optimization and adjustment plans are crucial for this journey. In order to keep polishing the project while providing you with an entertaining gameplay experience, we plan to further advance the testing schedule for every round of optimizations in the future. Hopefully, by slightly adjusting the R&D process, your feedback can help us refine the adjustments more directly. Upcoming Bug Fixes

  • [p]Fixing an issue in the training camp where the Hunter Crossbow couldn't deal damage to the target upon hitting the head, while shots to the body incorrectly registered as headshots.[/p]
  • [p]Fixing an issue where Erwin cannot revive friendlies with her Tactical Ability under high latency conditions.[/p]
  • [p]Fixing an occasional issue where Uly's weapons and melee attacks could not deal damage after burrowing underground.[/p]
  • [p]WA Raid Mode: Fixing an issue where if a defending player fails to evacuate a strategic location during the retreat phase, gets knocked down, and is then revived, the game incorrectly displays a "Return to the combat zone" prompt.[/p]
