Wild Assault Dev Log #51: Q&A on Key Content in the Current Version5

[p]Hello Wild Ones![/p][p]This week, we received a massive amount of feedback regarding the new version content, hero balance, and future plans for Season 4. Thank you for the detailed suggestions provided in the surveys and community channels (especially the in-depth evaluations on the AI Bots, which were extremely valuable!).[/p][p]Below is a summary of and responses to the key feedback for this period:[/p]

🎯 Key Responses: Valiants & Balance
[p]Q1:Can the targeting icon for Snow Leopard's (Anthea) Q ability grappling hook be optimized? Hope it can be a persistent reticle like in Apex, making it easier to judge distance.[/p]
[p]Reply: Noted! This suggestion is already in our backlog.
We plan to implement this as a configurable "Setting" allowing players to switch based on their preference, ensuring both performance and catering to different playstyles.[/p]
[p]Q2:When using Snow Leopard's Q ability at maximum range, there's a hit effect but the pull doesn't occur?[/p]
[p]Reply: This is a known issue. We have identified the cause and are working on a fix. Please allow the tech team some time. Additionally, regarding the feedback about Snow Leopard's head fur being too thick, we are also evaluating optimization effects.[/p]
[p]Q3:Concerns about the content volume of S3 and the release of new heroes. Will new heroes still be released semi-annually in the future (2026)?[/p]
[p]Reply: Rest assured, we are committed to maintaining the pace of "releasing one new hero every six months." The content adjustments in Season 3 are for longer-term planning, and we are working hard to coordinate production capacity[/p]
[p]Q4:AI Bots have many issues (e.g., dynamic balance失调, cross-team deployment, wallhacks, overly accurate aim), leading to a poor experience.[/p]
[p]Reply: Thank you for the detailed list of bot issues compiled by our dedicated players!
We will investigate and adjust each point. For example, the issue of "interrupting rescues" has been fixed and will be updated in Season 4. Other abnormal bot behaviors are also being addressed, and bot performance will see significant improvements in Season 4.[/p]

🎁 Benefits & System Optimizations
[p]Q5:Can the custom room card requirement be removed? Hope to create rooms without limits.[/p]
[p]Reply: Removed? Consider it done!
To make it easier for squads to practice and friends to play casually, we have decided to remove the custom room card limit. Furthermore, Season 4 custom rooms will also grant "Battle Pass EXP" (with a daily cap). Combined with the existing Hero/Weapon Proficiency, you can gain rewards even in custom matches.[/p]
[p]Q6:Will there be another chance to obtain missed free skins and cards in the future?[/p]
[p]Reply: Yes! Plans are finalized. Please stay tuned for the new systems in Season 4, where you can acquire past free event cosmetics through new means.[/p]
[p]Q7:Feedback on Hong Ying's "Candy Sprite" Christmas skin (suggestions include adding back the ears, optimizing the hat, etc.).[/p]
[p]Reply: We've received your feedback regarding Hong Ying's new skin, including the "ears," "hat style," and "outfit complexity."
The initial design hid the ears to distinguish it from Hong Ying's other skins and fit the winter theme. Regarding requests to "add back the ears" or "change the hair accessory," we are comprehensively evaluating and will consider optimizations based on the final consensus.[/p]

🛠️ Gameplay & Experience Optimizations
[p]Q8:Any plans to add support score skills? Or optimize medic/support scoring?[/p]
[p]Reply: We have previously optimized score gains for some Support and Specialist skills. The issue of "Bunny's" medic score being too low has been recorded and is under evaluation. If you have specific support skill design suggestions, feel free to provide feedback![/p]
[p]Q9:Will large-scale battlefields have vehicles? When is First-Person View (FPV) coming?[/p]
[p]Reply: Vehicles: There are currently no plans to directly add them to the current large-scale battle mode, but there are other vehicle-related plans for the future.
First-Person View (FPV): The game's core mechanics (animations, models, camera) are built around Third-Person View (TPV). Developing a full FPV experience is not feasible in the short term. We appreciate your understanding.[/p]
[p]Q10:Balance issues for specific Valiants (Panda's rocket launcher damage, Zhenshan's E skill hit registration, etc.).[/p]
[p]Reply: Zhenshan (Panda): Feedback regarding the rocket launcher's splash damage being too high is under evaluation.
Ryan (Bull): The issue where the E skill knocks down a leaping Snow Leopard is a bug and is being fixed.
Uly (Meerkat): The overly spammy voice lines when the RC car hits multiple players will be checked and the playback logic optimized.[/p]
[p]Q11:Want more bold, stylish, and good-looking male Beastman hero skins![/p]
[p]Reply: Feedback received! We'll arrange it![/p]

[p]Furthermore, in this week's update, we also made some adjustments to Snow Leopard Anthea. After trying them out, if you have any issues, please continue to provide feedback via surveys and social media. We will respond promptly.[/p][p][/p][p]That's all for this week's Wild Assault Dev Log. Thank you once again for your support and understanding. Season 4 is arriving soon, packed with content updates and system optimizations.
