This week’s Q&A list is full of heated discussions—especially about Marx’s arsenal and that seemingly meta-defining NK47. We’re not dodging the tough questions today. Let’s lay it all out and talk about the logic behind balance changes, and we’ll also give you a sneak peek at what the PVE mode gameplay will look like.[/p][hr][/hr][p]Part 1. The Eye of the Storm: The “Adds and Subtracts” of Weapon Balance[/p]
  • [p]The most frequent question in our DMs lately: “Why buff the NK47 even more? Give the DMP back to Marquez!”[/p]
  • [p]🔧 About the NK47’s current nerf status: Yes, we admit the current NK47 is performing a bit too strongly in the hands of assault-focused Vanguards like Norman, squeezing out the viability of other weapons.[/p]
    • [p]Progress: The nerf plan is finalized. It was originally scheduled for this week’s routine update, but due to unexpected technical issues (the code got tangled…), we had to postpone. Please bear with us—the adjustment for this weapon is coming soon.[/p]
  • [p]🦨 About the controversy around Marquez & the DMP:[/p]
    • [p]Many players are unhappy that the DMP SMG was removed from Marquez’s arsenal, leaving her with only the less-responsive VSK or Mk4.[/p]
    • [p]Explanation: We removed it because data showed: Marquez’s passive slow effect + the highly stable DMP = an unstoppable kiting playstyle. In skilled hands, this combo left opponents with no counterplay (once caught, it was a guaranteed elimination).[/p]
    • [p]Follow-up: While the DMP won’t be returning for now, we’ve heard the complaints about her “lack of firepower.” We’re evaluating weapon adjustment plans (the Feb 5 update already re-added the DSV).[/p]
