Wild Assault Weekly #5: Character Optimizations!
What's up the wild ones! Our Wild Assault character optimizations Beta spotlight is finally here! We are so glad that players liked our characters in the alpha test, and we are aware of the fact that the current character performances haven't met everyone's satisfaction.
Let's take a look at what we've been working on:
[h2]Optimization for Marquez[/h2]

[h2]Optimization for Vladimir[/h2]
We all love Vladimir, and like our producer mentioned in the last Q&A, we've nerfed Vladimir too much. Now major buff is coming to the big guy!

[h2]Optimization for projectile abilities[/h2]
There are many projectile abilities in Wild Assault, such as Marquez's Gas Grenade, Ryan's Smoke Grenade, Jack's Projectile Launcher and Vladimir's Burning Barrel. We've been working hard to optimize the overall smoothness of projectile abilities and resolve the issue of aim guideline delays.

We've also been working on optimizations for other characters like Jack and Hongying. Balancing character abilities is always an ongoing task for us. With more new characters joining Wild Assault, we'll also need to be extremely cautious when fine-tuning. We'll keep everyone posted on the progress!

[h2]Optimization for Marquez[/h2]
- Marquez's toxin mine now leaves a dangerous zone upon explosion, dealing AoE poison damage for a much longer time. Never mess with the deadly scientist!

- Optimization: Marquez's toxin mine now has a larger trigger area, making it easier for players to defuse. Still, we suggest you keep your eyes sharp, or you'll hear Marquez laughing at you!

[h2]Optimization for Vladimir[/h2]

- Faster casting animation for Field Fort

- Fury Cannon now deals higher damage
