Wild Assault Early Access April 22 Hotfix Patch Note

Good day, Wild Ones!

A hotfix is rolling out on April 22, 2025. In-game matches won't be affected by this update. However matchmaking may not function normally during the process. Please exit the game, complete the update, and launch your game client again.

[h2]Bug Fixes[/h2]

Fixed an issue causing unintended shotgun damage values.
Fix Erwin's Q ability heal SFX persisting when switching weapons.
Adjusted collision in Area B2 (The Ricky Mountains) to prevent players from accessing unintended bridge areas.
Fixed incorrect talent descriptions and localization issues.
Fixed an issue where the Weekend Bootcamp event banner did not disappear after the event ended.

We're Switching to Weekly Updates Starting This Week!

Dear Wild Ones,

Since the launch of Wild Assault Early Access, with your incredible help and support, we've been able to deploy daily hotfixes addressing over 50 bugs and improving the overall gameplay experience across multiple aspects from April 11 to April 18 (including weekends). Now that the current build is much more stable, we've decided to switch to a weekly update mode starting this week. We plan to gather your feedback through multiple channels and deploy weekly updates every Thursday (how about calling it "WA Thursday"?). We believe this approach will allow us to focus on delivering themed improvements in order to further polish the game.

Rest assured, we will make sure to deploy emergency hotfixes if critical issues are spotted during the process. We're committed to gathering your feedback non-stop through the ingame feedback system and our social channels. Your voice has always been, and will always be, the most important guidance for us to improve Wild Assault.

In addition to our weekly updates, we will gradually shift our focus to the development of future content. Staying true to our commitment of co-creating Wild Assault with our community, we have maintained close interaction and collaboration through our dev logs leading up to the Early Access launch. Moving forward, we will continue to communicate with you through this method, sharing periodic progress updates as we work on what’s coming next!

Updates on Player Concerns: Volume 2

It has been a week since the launch of Wild Assault Early Access, and every bit of your support has meant the world to us!

The Battle Pass experience has been one of the most discussed topics in the community since Day 1, which is why we are making it a top priority to further refine and improve it.
We have already implemented the following improvements over the past week:

Removed the weekly XP cap.
Adjusted Battle Pass tasks and removed the "Play a Match" daily task.

Good day, Wild Ones!

Since the Early Access release of Wild Assault, we are deeply grateful for the positive feedback from all the Wild Ones regarding the game. Currently, we have urgently addressed and optimized most of the issues reported by the community. As for some unresolved anomalies, we are still identifying and analyzing their causes. Additionally, we are thoroughly discussing the various feedback and concerns raised by the community regarding their gaming experiences.

Fixed incorrect reward display background when entering the Battle Pass page in certain cases.
Fixed an issue where Erwin could not revive teammates under specific conditions.
Fixed an issue where the Tactical Laser Pointer (unlocked at M-10 Weapon Level 10) could not be equipped in the attachments menu.
Fixed several occasional crash issues.

Improved algorithm to further boost Valiant proficiency players earned from matches.
Increased the reward quantity for Weekend Bootcamp.
Adjusted the Battle Pass daily tasks and removed the "win a match" task.
Improved error messages for incorrect game client launch methods.
New error notifications for squad invites.

Fixed an issue causing mouse input delays/stuttering.
Fixed an issue where damage based talent effects abnormally increased ability charge rates.
Fixed texture issues on certain map objects.
Fixed incorrect data display in the end-game screen.
Fixed an issue where Zhenshan's Q ability behaved abnormally during auto sprinting.
Fixed visual and material issues with Zhenshan’s cosmetics.
Fixed minor English localization errors.
