Bug fixing

Hello Builders!

This is a tiny patch to fix some of the issues from the previous one.

Fix: Painter and SoftPainter output not changing when providing new pieces
Fix: Sloper, Rounder and Slicer producing white pieces after changing their configuration
Fix: Creative mode loading
Fix: Creative mode saving

We are aware of an issue regarding rotations of pieces in the Creative mode and we are working on a fix. As a temporary measure you can try to move up and down the piece that displaces a wrong error after the rotation and it should fix itself.

Many thanks to all of the users that notified us of the issues they found, hope you can enjoy the game even more with this update!

This is due to changes in the saving system to improve memory and loading speed. [/p][p][/p][h2]More Performance improvements and Steam Cloud Save [/h2][p][/p][p]As we have mentioned before, we are aware of the performance issues. We are still working hard on this, our two programmers being full time on trying to improve this matter. The performance has improved with recent changes, and we have also detected that sound is playing a part on this. For some of you that want to build huge factories and get 3 stars, muting the game in Pause - Settings, will improve the performance as well. We know that this is not enough, so we are still doing are best to get the game to the best possible status. [/p][p]Regarding Steam Cloud Save, initially, we mistakenly had it for developers only. We have set it for players, and successfully tried saving. However, for some players is still being an issue, so please contact us via mail ([email protected]) or Discord or mail if that is your case so we can see what's happening. We have managed to upload some fixes that make saves that we received (thank you for sending them to us) moving at 1fps to 15fps, but the fixes won't be perceived by players that play the game with large production lines. New automation sandbox game Block Factory is basically Satisfactory with Lego

I love it when a plan comes together, and there are few more fulfilling videogame implementations of that than the likes of Satisfactory and Factorio. Watching your carefully placed construction line whirr into action to make products and materials is the ultimate culmination of hours of effort. In one of the most logical connections ever made, relaxing new sandbox game Block Factory takes that concept and infuses it with Lego-style building blocks, tasking you with manufacturing all manner of figurines to your heart's content, and it's yours for just $10.

Fixing Block Factory Optimization

[p][/p][h3]Hello Block Builders![/h3][p][/p][p]We are aware that some users are experiencing issues with the game’s optimization. Ironically, these optimization issues seem to be happening to those who are working on optimizing their factories to achieve the highest scores, while more casual builders aren’t experiencing any trouble.[/p][p][/p][p]Our objective has always been giving the best of both worlds to our hardcore and casual audience, with easy initial objectives to jump straight to the next level and hard enough challenges to scratch that itch in your brain for those who want to optimize. We are very sad that we are currently delivering only the best of one world, and hope to bring the best of the other world to our optimizers. [/p][p][/p][p]We are working hard on identifying the issues, and we are super thankful for all your feedback in the Steam Discussions and our Discord.[/p][p][/p][p]As we have mentioned in the past, we are a tiny studio of 5 developers. Our two programmers have been reviewing all the issues since launch, tweaking and testing all the intricacies of the code. Meanwhile, both artists are trying to figure out if there is anything on the graphical side of the game (3D models, animations, VFX…) that could be improved, and our designer is testing each save we are being sent to relay any useful information to the rest of the team while he thinks on solutions to iterate faster on a fix.[/p][p][/p][h2]Optimization Band-Aid[/h2][p][/p][p]We have just released an update that fixes small issues we’ve found that affected performance in minor ways, as well as tweaked the balance on machine efficiency. Furthermore, if you have 3* starred a figurine you can now delete or lower it’s production without loosing the score. This is not a permanent solution but rather a small temporal band-aid to make the game as enjoyable as possible for those who want to optimize.[/p][p][/p][h2]Your help is being valuable[/h2][p][/p][p]As you can imagine, it’s being an exhausting weekend. Sadly, these kind of situations some time happen are part of game development and we are the first who want to fix this and bring you the best version of Block Factory for you to enjoy.
