2026 Development Roadmap
[p]Hello, Explorers![/p][p]Since Early Access, we’ve focused on refining the game’s foundation and core gameplay based on your play experiences and feedback.[/p][p]As we enter 2026, we’d like to share our current development roadmap, which includes where we’re heading and how we plan to bring Fatal Claw to its full 1.0 release.[/p][p][/p][hr][/hr][p]
[/p][h2]Phase 1 - Early Access Stabilization (Completed)[/h2][p]
[/p][p]Since the Early Access launch, we’ve been focused on stabilizing the game’s core.[/p][p]- Improved overall gameplay flow and controls[/p][p]- Stabilized key systems and fixed bugs[/p][p]- Enhanced UX, guides, and quality-of-life features[/p][p]- Iterated continuously based on player feedback[/p][p][/p][p]This phase helped us clearly define what Fatal Claw needs to be and where it still needs improvement.[/p][p][/p][h2]Phase 2 - Content Expansion Updates (Planned)[/h2][p]Now we’re moving into the content expansion phase leading up to full release. [/p][p]In Phase 2, we’ll begin expanding the game’s scope significantly, including new regions, enemies, and bosses.[/p][p][/p][h3]1st Expansion Update (Planned for late February 2026)[/h3][p]
[/p][p]- Add 3 new regions[/p][p]- Add region-linked normal enemies and bosses[/p][p]- Expand exploration routes and combat experiences centered around the new regions[/p][p][/p][h3]2nd Expansion Update (Planned for late April 2026)[/h3][p]
[/p][p]- Add 3 new regions[/p][p]- Add region-linked normal enemies and bosses[/p][p]- Increase density and meaningful choices in mid-to-late-game progression[/p][p][/p][h3]⏱ Why the gap between updates will be longer[/h3][p]Starting in Phase 2, update intervals will be longer than before. This is because we’re not only adding content, but we’re also doing the following alongside it:[/p][p]- Full region-level design[/p][p]- Enemy and boss pattern design and balancing[/p][p]- Natural integration with existing systems[/p][p]- Re-validation of overall gameplay flow[/p][p][/p][p]Rather than forcing shorter update cycles, our priority is to deliver each expansion update at a high level of quality.[/p][p][/p][h2]Phase 3 - Full Release Preparation (1.0)[/h2][p]
[/p][p]In Phase 3, we’ll prepare the full version of the game, including all remaining regions and the ending. [/p][p]Our target for the official 1.0 release in summer 2026.[/p][p]- Unlock all regions[/p][p]- Complete the main story and ending[/p][p]- Final balancing and full content flow tuning[/p][p]- Polish presentation, overall quality, and the complete play experience[/p][p][/p][p]* Save files created during Early Access will not be reset during content expansion updates or at the 1.0 launch.[/p][p][/p][h2]2026 - Your Feedback Matters[/h2][p]If 2025 was the year we refined the core, 2026 will be the year we add new content. [/p][p]We plan to refine that content again through your feedback.[/p][p][/p][p]New regions and systems will continue to improve through your play and your input. [/p][p]We plan to refine this new content alongside you, pushing the quality of the 1.0 release as high as possible.[/p][p][/p][p]Your thoughts and experiences are always a huge help.
