  • Another new character, Heather, has been added to the game but isn't playable yet.
  • Gem Head's jumps are now more consistent.
  • Attacks now cancel the fall pit mercy timer.
  • Bat Pudgie's Master difficulty revenge attack is now a skull to make it less confusing.
  • Charging attacks now supports multiple levels. Mal is the only character with multiple charge levels.
  • Monda's air+down can no longer be spammed.
  • Enemy invincibility frames now only protect against the source of the attack, not all attacks. This means that multiple projectiles can all hit an enemy at the same time, like Hattie's chaos globs.

Next Patch: Mal and Heather

The next patch for Millie Megavolte 8 will include two new characters: Mal and Heather.

Left to right: Mal, Heather, Hiroshi, Millie

Mal is an undead cyclops who shoots magic arrows with his bow. He's unique so far in that he has multiple charge levels. Charging longer adds more arrows and power to the attack. Mal also has an evasive directional triple jump that passes through enemies.

In Mal's story (coming eventually, work with me here), he rises from his grave and seeks revenge on those that put him there. The only problem is that he's been dead for hundreds of years.

Heather is a nellish polarity mage. Her secondary ability is to switch her polarity which changes her spells. While her special is active, she uses both polarities at once!

In Heather's story, all nellish journey outside their isolated village of Nell to see the world when they come of age. However, third-hand accounts and even being 120 years old can't prepare one for what's outside the sanctuary.

Look forward to it!
