Another week, another update ✨!

As our community continues to grow, we've been closely listening to your feedback and bug reports. We've been actively engaging with everyone on our Discord, answering questions & comments, and of course, exchanging with our fantastic community members.

At the same time, our dev team has been hard at work to resolve any potential issues and to improve your player experience. So, we're thrilled to unveil yet another update just in time for your upcoming weekend gaming sessions!

Here is what's in this week's update:

[h2]🗺️ A New Map: Breeze Islands[/h2]

"Breeze Island" is a tiny Island notable for its many Windmills. A small market and mountainous terrain offer a good starting point for some adventuring.



[h2]⚙️ Improvements and Fixes[/h2]
    UI / UX
  • Improved sorting logic for entries of the Map Browser.
    My Maps Tab: Entries are now sorted by last changed ascending.
    Official Map Tab: Entries are now sorted by name ascending.
    Public Map Tab: Entries are now sorted by likes descending.

  • Improved sorting logic for entries of the Character Browser
    My Characters Tab: Entries are now sorted by last changed ascending.
    Official Characters Tab: Entries are now sorted by name ascending.

  • Added a new Info Popup when attempting to access character sheets of miniatures, that are owned by other players.
  • Improved the "unavailable" message inside the context menu "Full Dive" option, when attempting to Full Dive into a miniature that is not available for Full Dive,

    Charactersheet
  • Corrected the AC Calculation for heavy armor
  • Corrected the AC calculation for unequipping armor

    Gameplay
  • Fixed a bug where the context menu could become non-responsive (for example after deleting a map asset)
  • Fixed some floating assets on the "Elder Dragon Lair" Map.
  • Fixed some floating assets on the "Winter Festival" Map.
  • Fixed a Bug where the hover outline of a miniature could get stuck (after Full Dive).
  • Fixed a Bug where players were able to Full Dive into miniatures using the context menu even if they were missing rights.


    Miscellaneous
  • Updated the in-game newsboard with the new player survey.

This is our first larger patch after the first week of the launch of the Player Edition!

First and foremost we want to say "Hello" to all the new players:

Having said that, let's get into this week's content:
🗺️New Assets!


[h2]1. New Map: Highland Ruins[/h2]
We have added a brand new map to the official map tab called "Highland Ruins".

In the "Highland Ruins" a mountainous path leads to an ancient ruin that isn't as uninhabited as it initially seems.

[h2]2. New Map: Elder Dragons Lair[/h2]

Expanding on the "Vulcano Map", the "Elder Dragons Lair" Map is the final confrontation with an ancient beast. Multiple paths lead through these dangerous crumbling ruins in the midst of a volcano. The ultimate test of bravery and perseverance!



🔧 Fixed Issues
  • Fixed a bug where players could get scorpion legs after map change if they were crawling during the map change
  • Fixed dice, rolled by tabletop players still generating sound effects even when you're in Full Dive mode and unable to see them.
  • Fixed a rare bug where the hover HP bar could be visible in the main menu

April Hotfix Version 0.7.1-480

  • Added "Offline Play" to the main menu to improve the menu flow and make menu navigation clearer for new players.
  • Fixed a bug where hosting games was not possible when the user's system time was incorrect.
  • Fixed a bug where dice thrown by tabletop players were visible for miniatures

  • Fixed a bug where character creation was not possible the very first time the game was launched

April Hotfix - Version 0.7.1-480

  • Fixed a bug that prevented you from spawning or editing your character as it was recognized as the official "Lord Darkmoor" miniature.


Note:
We are aware of a bug that prevents first time uses from creating a new character unless they have restarted the application at least once. If you encounter this issue you can restart the game to fix this problem.
We are investigating the bug at the same time and will deploy a fix for this soon.
