The Next Phantom Squad Playtest Begins TOMORROW
Steel yourselves, Agents - you're about to be deployed into uncharted territory.
Our next playtest is coming sooner than you might think, running from this Friday 4PM BST to Tuesday 4PM BST - so lace up your boots, prepare your loadouts, and organise your squad. You're about to charge into Phantom Squad's first four missions. You'll need to keep your wits about you and tread carefully if you want to make it out alive.
In your first mission, Die Hard, you'll breach Skyline Tower - a 36-storey skyscraper. Terrorists have seized control of the building, and it's down to you and your squad to seize the top three floors and rescue the hostages. Don’t worry - you won’t be climbing from the ground up. Your insertion point is the rooftop, and you'll be making your way down.
In this mission, your goal is to minimise civilian casualties and take back the tower.
After restoring order downtown, you’ll be deployed on your second mission - Operation: Power Down. This brand new mission turns the difficulty up a notch.
In Operation: Power Down, terrorists have taken a VIP hostage in a high-security lab. The only way to extract the VIP? Under cover of darkness. Your squad will need to disable the power generator to gain access, then escort the VIP to safety while engaging in pitch-black combat.
Plan ahead, and bring a loadout suited to low-light conditions. The terrorists won’t know what hit them.
