[p]Hi everyone,[/p][p]Before anything else — here are the latest changes:[/p]

1. Repair Sword Quest
[p]If you have Akakiy’s sword repaired, the Countess will now send you to Dobrinino again.
A sex scene for male Volk is planned there.[/p][p]Important: Please download and install the new patch.rpa if you already had the previous one.
The old version will not work with this update.[/p]

2. Automatic Chinese and Russian Language Detection
[p]The game now checks your Windows language settings and automatically sets Russian or Chinese when applicable.
Some players reported difficulties switching to Chinese manually, so this feature should help.[/p]

3. “E” Key During Save Naming
[p]Pressing E while typing a save name could occasionally open the delete-save menu.
This is now fixed.[/p]

4. Achievements Auto-Grant Issue
[p]A few players received several achievements immediately after starting a new game.
The issue couldn’t be reproduced, but unnecessary persistent files were removed to prevent such cases.[/p]

One Month After Release
[p]It has now been about a month since release, and the game has received several updates and fixes.
Many of the launch issues have been resolved, and the overall stability has significantly improved.
We’ll continue polishing the game.[/p][p][/p]
Outcasts 2:
[p]We originally planned to begin development of Outcasts 2 immediately after release.
Some graphics and narrative connections are already prepared — such as the Zabava book quest and Dobrinino characters who would play a larger role in the sequel.[/p][p]Since the UI, battle system, and many assets are already in place, developing the sequel would take significantly less time than creating the first game from scratch.[/p][p]For now, our priority is to continue supporting Outcasts 1.
As a small studio, we have to be careful with long-term commitments, so the decision to fully launch production of Outcasts 2 depends on how strongly the first game is received over time.
If the overall reception improves and the audience shows steady interest, we’ll be able to move forward confidently — Outcasts 2 remains our main long-term direction.[/p][p]The Steam page for Outcasts 2: The Book of the Dead is already available if you'd like to keep track of it or add it to your wishlist.[/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p]

Other Projects
[p]Alongside our long-term plans for Outcasts 2, we also have two small side initiatives in early planning.
These are low-impact projects that do not replace Outcasts 2 and do not affect the eventual development schedule.[/p]

1. Unity Project
[p]A small technical experiment I’m using to learn Unity.
It’s not story-based, and won’t take priority over any main project.[/p]

2. New Ren’Py Visual Novel
[p]A compact standalone VN we’re preparing in parallel.
It’s a lighter project and won’t interfere with the Outcasts series.
More details soon.[/p]

[p]We’ll keep improving the game step by step.
Thank you for your support![/p][p]KamtiGames[/p]
