A message to our community

Dear Obilians,

Welcome to the #Obilia community! As we share an early preview of our world, we'd like to extend a warm welcome to newcomer adventurers from every corner of the world.
We're working hard to bring our vision for this game to life, and we're thrilled to invite you join us on this journey of development. Obilia isn't created in a closed studio environment, it is a collaborative endeavor involving both our team and the invaluable input of our community. That includes you! Your comments and feedback will actively contribute to shaping and refining Obilia.

In every step, we would like to read your feedback and carefully respond in a way to define the future of Obilia together.

For this - we would like to present to you our first-ever community update directly from our game's storyteller, Emrah!

Until next time, happy exploring!

Obilia 0.1.0 Patch Notes

Dear Obilians,

Today we are pushing a hotfix patch to solve some of the issues that have been disrupting the gameplay. While we are working on the next update, we want to make sure that all Obilians are comfortable with exploring the lands of Obilia.

The latest updates in the game includes:

Gameplay

* Mouse invert y axis is now working as intended
* In-game mouse sensitivity is improved
* In-game camera is adjusted (we are continuously reading your feedbacks to find the best tune)
* Glider now has two seconds cooldown and cannot be spammed
* Fixed bug where canoe camera has reversed axis
* The characters Desmond and Sidney have minor design updates. (They got their eyes back, thank you @naecho for letting us know!)

UI

* Character portraits are updated
* Motion blur toggle is added to the settings (Thank you @zolointo!)

We would like to express our heartfelt thanks for all the feedback that has come from early Obilians and look forward to working on the necessary adjustments to change the gameplay for you all. We have much more in store, and as we continue to work hard, we hope all our community members enjoy exploring Obilia!

Greetings travelers! It is finally time to become an early Obilian and start exploring the secrets of a cozy new world.

We’re very excited to announce that Obilia is available on Steam Early Access. And this exclusive preview is completely free!

Obilia is a casual episodic open-world RPG, in a vibrant archipelago tailored for your exploration.

But it will be a lonely place without you! Starting with this preview, we want to connect with all Obilians in our Discord and hear their comments, questions and feedback during our early development. As a community, your preferences will set the standards for Obilia’s future, and we will expand the horizons of this world together every step of the way!

What can you expect in Early Access?

Even though this is an early preview of Obilia, we’re actively developing this game to bring you new playable content every week. We will release regular content updates every other week, and we’re planning regular Q&As, devlogs and community sessions to keep our game growing.

In this preview of Obilia, players can

Explore the 3 available islands (Fora, Marooza and Athos),
Dive into the depths of the first dungeon on Fora
Gather resources around the islands and test the crafting mechanic
Try our three playable characters
Glide, canoe and fish

Much more to come with upcoming updates! We will share our roadmap in the coming weeks to show fellow Obilians what to expect from the game in the near future! Head up to our store on April 15, 2024 and try Obilia for free!
