The Lovecraftian Days 2025 playtest is live!

Steam Co-op Fest, new demo, future plans for our Lovecraftian roguelite pool๐ŸŽฑ๐Ÿ™

WHAT IS THIS ABOMINATION?

Think Inscryption meets Diablo/PoE meets a twisted game of pool. A unique experience with lots of mystery, emergent gameplay and endless replayability. That's the goal for the full version of the game.

While this is the first stab at a PoM multiplayer mode and we expect A LOT to change, we feel it's already fun and we could really use your feedback as we continue building Pool of Madness into our dream game.

This is definitely one of our favourite projects we've worked on and the most unique one, so it's great to see players already appreciating the core features!

PS It works great on Steam Deck!

CHANGELOG

Changes from the previous limited playtest include:
- a hotseat coop mode featuring a new totem
- new powerups
- completely new UI (still WIP, similarly to other features)
- premium pockets (that will feature increasing modifiers later down the line)
- many bugfixes

WHAT'S NEXT?

We're currently focusing on making the gameplay as much fun as possible, testing out different ideas and features, as well as working on the story in parallel. This is why these imperfect playtests are so important, as they allow us to gather feedback from players around the world while the game is still in development.

Things will be rough for a while in terms of the overall presentation, until we're satisfied with the gameplay part and implement & test various features, then we'll begin focusing more on the audiovisual side of things.

Thank you for taking the time to check out this crazy abomination our eldritch baby of a game! We think we have something really special here - we'd love you to help us shape it!
