Developer Update #6 - 06/11/2025

Hey there, Survivors!


[h3]Welcome to our sixth Developer Update! Our last playtest was incredible, and everyone who tested the game and shared feedback helped us tremendously in improving it :) Some of the updates below may already have been featured in our recent social posts, as a few are now almost two months old đŸ˜¶â€đŸŒ«ïž. Let’s check it right now![/h3]



[h3]Concept Arts:[/h3]

The mighty swarm spawners! These locations are soon to become your worst nightmare. While they may look like massive, broken ventilation pipes, they’re actually the escape routes for hundreds, if not thousands, of creatures. Where could they be coming from, so deep beneath the ground?



Introducing the Highly Adaptive Reconnaissance and Precision Yield Unit, also known as HARPY 🙂. He might not be the biggest threat to your defenses, but believe me, you don’t want to face one in a duel.



Good news never comes alone... Here’s your least favorite 'friend' of humans (it looks like a dog, but it will definitely kill you). Be careful of its teeth; they hurt.

Rifle Mk1 and Mk2





Probably your best friends for multiple hours!

[h3]Base building: [/h3]

Barriers - Protecting your turrets while they shoot is mandatory; barriers are made for that.







Blade turrets: - Ever dreamt of becoming a butcher and making an alien salad? Thanks to blade turrets, this is now possible.







[h3]VFX:[/h3]

And finally, VFX ✹! It’s always exciting to see everything come together, and after just over 3 months of production, the world of Sigma Century is really starting to take shape. Seeing the visuals, effects, and systems click into place is as satisfying for us as we hope it will be for you.









[h3]ASTRA Beacon:[/h3]

After touching down on Sigma Century, your first objective will be to reach out to other ships and call for rescue using this beacon. But escape won’t come easily, as long as the source of the devastating EMP pulses remains unknown and active, no ship can land, and you’re trapped on the planet. Defending this beacon is key to your success.



[h3]Replicator:[/h3]

Players can build replicators to synthesize resources within their base. To unlock a resource for replication, they must first obtain a rare isolate of that material. Once acquired, production becomes a matter of time and energy management.



[h3]Electricity System:[/h3]

Batteries, switches, power splitters, repeaters, and generators were added to the electricity system. This system is subject to a lot of changes, though. The playtest feedback helped a lot on that matter!

Symbiosis - Our Rebrand Announcement đŸŒ±âœš

Hello there, Survivors!


[h2]Today, we are coming to you with a very Important Devlog - Rebranding. We will try to go in-depth on why we made such a decision, so we can be as transparent as possible. Let's jump into it![/h2]



[h3]Why the change?[/h3]

“Symbiosis” felt like the clearest way to capture the heart of our game. At its core, the story revolves around creatures altered by technology, experiments that scientists called symbiosis. In reality, it’s closer to parasitism, and your journey is about facing the consequences of those morally questionable choices.

The shorter name is also easier to remember, with less friction, simple, direct, and true to the experience we’re building.

[h3]What does the rebrand bring?[/h3]

Since leaving pre-production earlier this year, we’ve been able to shape the artistic direction much further. The rebrand reflects that progress:

  • A new logo that captures the essence of Symbiosis.
  • A new key art & symbol that highlights the struggle for survival against corrupted technology.
  • A refined visual mood that better reflects the game’s intensity and atmosphere.


The new key art captures the heart of Symbiosis: humanity struggling for survival against corrupted technology and overwhelming forces.

We’ve also listened to early community feedback, especially around lighting and atmosphere, and those improvements are already guiding our work as development continues.

Evolving environments: brighter, moodier, and shaped by your feedback.

[h3]Does this change the game itself?[/h3]

The vision of Symbiosis remains the same, but like any evolving world, the game will keep growing stronger. We’re refining mechanics, improving visuals, and expanding content, but always with the same goal: to make the experience deeper, more immersive, and truer to the world we’re creating together.

[h3]What’s next?[/h3]

The rebrand is just one step forward. Since June 2025, our whole team has been fully focused on building Symbiosis, and we’re thrilled with the progress so far.
What we’re most excited about now is our very first community playtest, your chance to get hands-on with the core mechanics and share your feedback directly with us. We can’t wait to experience that moment together with you..

Developer Update #5 - 25/09/2025

Hey there, Survivors!


[h2]Welcome to our fifth Developer Update! Today, we’re excited to share a big look at what’s been cooking behind the scenes. Let’s dive right in![/h2]



[h3]Male Character & Armors[/h3]

Up until now, the female character has been leading the way, but it’s time for reinforcements. The male character is officially joining the fight! Alongside this, we’re unveiling one of the biggest gameplay systems yet: armors. đŸ”„

Here’s a first look at two new armor sets designed for the male archetype, each offering distinct stats and playstyles to shape your survival strategy.





But that’s not all. Some of you eagle-eyed explorers may have spotted a motorbike in our last trailer 👀. Vehicles are a huge milestone for mobility, but we wanted to give you something to bridge the gap while exploring our vast worlds. Enter: backpacks! 🚀

Each backpack comes equipped with its own jetpack, giving you new ways to move, scout, and survive with style.

New Alien Creature Inspired by Event Winner!

When we saw Grey’s creation, “Stinkler,” we knew right away it belonged in *Land of Symbiosis*. It was such an inspiring design that we immediately started bringing it to life in-game!
