DEMO PATCH #46 - RITUALS, CARROTS AND FISH

THE BIG NEW PATCH IS FINALLY LIVE!

Hey everyone

So its been a longer time than usual for this update, we had to revamp the code a bit again to so we can do some more dynamic stuff with the Villagers. But its finally done. On top of this there's a juicy update with Rituals and Two new Professions, carrots and FISH!!

Here are the changes for this patch:

🔹RITUALS- Villagers wont automatically worship you know, You can choose a ritual and what villagers should perform it to boos your village.
🔹CREATON - A new type to choose in the talent tree that enables a new creation in the world.
🔹CARROTS - A creation that will spawn in the environment and can be used as food
🔹FISH - A creation that will spawn in the environment and can be used as food
🔹GARDENING - A profession to automate Carrot planting
🔹FISHING HUT - A new building and profession for workers to catch fish
🔹SLEEP - Villagers will now go to sleep at night unless you tell them to do other things.
🔹TOOLTIPS - Added some more Tooltips to explain some stuff.
🔹INTRO! - a brand new intro to make the start of the game a bit more exciting
🔹NEW SKILL TREE - total revamped visuals and also added unlockable buildings to the skill tree, also better info on the nodes in the skill tree.
🔹REROLL PRAYERS - You can now use devotion to reroll a prayer.
🔹AUDIO ON BUILDINGS - Clicking on buildings now triggers relative audio
🔹 LOCALIZATION - added Norwegian, Dutch, Ukrainian, and Romanian.

[h2]TWEAKS[/h2]
🔹Villagers will finish their tasks before being interrupted by night or eating
🔹You can now cancel trading in progress
🔹You can now click on the banner icon to move to it
🔹Visually improved Health bars
🔹Pacing Tweaks, We adjusted the pacing to introduce new things at a better rate
🔹Improved Feedback when leveling up
🔹Removed Request to offer resources, they will only ask for resources now.
🔹You can no longer lift wildlings, only your followers
🔹Wildlings will automatically join the village and do not have to be lifted
🔹Updated Signs prayer to be 3 instead of 5 signs
🔹Held items are now visualized over everything
🔹Balanced trade offers from enemy camps
🔹Improved villager AI to eat in-between tasks instead of interrupting (especially good for traders 😄 )
🔹Other camps will attack you if their attitude is low
🔹You now get XP by interacting with followers other than prayers

[h2]FIXES[/h2]
🔹Tooltips could get stuck
🔹Builders could spawn 0 amount of Resources
🔹Could not see gifts on a selected villager
🔹 The progress of the villagers prayer is now visible when holding them
🔹UI icon on the trade cart was blank if only asking for resources
🔹 A prayer for a job cannot be for a job they already have
🔹Could lose resource by dropping them on the messenger (if the wrong resource)
🔹Faith would go down on villagers while dead.
🔹Choosing Orcs would trigger an altar click
🔹Setting menu panels would overlap
🔹Call on wildlings tutorial could show on any building.
🔹Duplication of corpses by colliding with graves
🔹 The trade post would break if a camp were bought
🔹Reviving a follower would bug out something that doesn't exist
🔹Fixed some localization panels not scaling properly

Improved enemy camps

DEMO PATCH #45.1 - CLERICS & GRAVES

Hey everyone

So the new profession is finally here CLERICS. We have decided to call them Clerics to make them as religiously neutral as possible.



Here are the changes for this patch:
[h2]NEW[/h2]
🔹CLERICS - You can now build a new building called Temple, and workers will become clerics and will walk over to the enemy base to preach to them.
🔹CAMP ATTITUDE - Now you'll be able to see the camp attitude by clicking on the camp in the world
🔹GRAVES - You now need to bury the dead unless you want things to get unpleasant during the night.
🔹TIP OF THE DAY - Now you can read tips in the pause menu.

[h2]TWEAKS[/h2]
🔹Breaking enemy walls removed them completely. It was hard to see the edge of their camp.
🔹Enemy prayers are now only visible through priests.
🔹Some powers would have no cooldown if upgraded.
🔹Performance fixes, should be possible to have lots more villagers now.

[h2]FIXES[/h2]
🔹Forester area did not save
🔹Raise Dead and Revive powers wasn't possible to unlock.
🔹Destroying an unfinished building gave back more resources.
🔹Revive and raise dead was not selectable in the skill tree

DEMO PATCH #44.2 - TRADING & DEVOTION

Hey everyone!

Two new features! TRADING and DEVOTION, now you can also trade with and buy other camps, and the powers are used differently with the devotion system.



[h2]Here are the changes for this patch:[/h2]
[h3]NEW[/h3]
🔹DEVOTION - A mana cost for using powers.
🔹POWER USE - Now the cursor will react as you select a power.
🔹TRADEPOST - Build a tradepost and trade with the nearby villages and eventually Buy the entire camp.
🔹BRAZIER - New "building" that lights the area around it
🔹MESSAGE SOUNDS - The message prompts now have sounds for positive and negative events.

[h3]TWEAKS[/h3]
🔹Multiply power now works in enemy camps
🔹Villagers no longer heal from eating.
🔹Raise Dead & Revie power only targets one character now.

[h3]FIXES[/h3]
🔹Sawyer could use 0 logs for making planks with double perks.
🔹Archers not shooting
🔹Forrester only picked acorns from the ground.
🔹John Smith bug happening on reload.
🔹Foresters planting trees outside of the area
🔹Dropping resources on dead no longer gets consumed
🔹Signs prayer didn't save the progress on reload.

DEMO PATCH #43 - FORESTER

Hey everyone!

So finally more buildings and we're starting with the one that a lot of you have requested, the forester who will plant trees.



[h3]Here are the changes for this patch:[/h3]
[h2]NEW[/h2]
🔹FORESTER PROFESSION - A forester will plant trees within an area, and a new tutorial for it.
🔹PRAYER ICONS - some more and new prayer icons.
🔹EDGE PANNING - The screen will pan if the cursor moves to the edge of the screen.

[h2]TWEAKS[/h2]
🔹Enemy camps no longer have environmental objects
🔹Enemy corpses now decay
🔹Enemy corpses can now be picked up
🔹House is removed for now

[h2]FIXES[/h2]
🔹Villagers praying for hurting villagers who left camp or are already dead
🔹Undead would generate faith
🔹Lumberjack and Miner runs straight into enemy camp and dies
🔹Stonemason was invisible when broken
🔹Enemy camps won't drop the General Food item

The next thing we're working on and hopefully will be able to post next week is the Trading, and Trade Post. Try the early test branch if you want to try it now.
After that we're going to be working on the priest, to have more ways to convert the other villages.
