THROWING & PRODUCTION TIMES

Hey, everyone !

So build 31 is now here and we finally have a stable throwing system plus some more.

🔹 Revive animation for the characters
🔹 Characters and Goblins can now be thrown properly and has fitting animations.
🔹 New art for smith, stonemason and windmill
🔹 Production times: Buildings no longer instantly produce resources, and need a worker to make them where it takes time.

[h2]TWEAKS[/h2]
🔹Increased bread food amount to 5

We're going to work more on the combat first and later on the god choices and more characters depths with faith and needs.

DEMO PATCH #30 - Finally, Unique characters & stacking

Hey, everyone!


So build 30 is finally here, this means that we revamped most of the game code and are back on track to start adding some bigger stuff.
This took longer than anticipated but it was very much needed. From now on we hope to be able to push some more regular updates again.

For this update, there's still some nice juicy stuff for you.

[h2]NEW[/h2]
  • Unique characters, They now have unique visuals like gender, skin tone, and hair
  • Art for most buildings and objects in the game
  • Workers will now bring their own resource back to the storage.
  • STACKING! items of the same type can now stack if they touch. villagers can also carry these stacks.


[h2]TWEAKS[/h2]
  • Rebalancing of archers, goblins, and spearmen.
  • Carpenters will bring all resources of the same type that are needed
  • Rocks now hold multiple stones instead of one.

## FIXES
  • Fixed a ton of AI issues where they could get stuck in certain tasks.

(there's a lot of stuff that was fixed automatically as we revamped the code so it's hard to list them all)

We're going to work more on the combat first and later on the god choices and more character depth with faith and needs.
we also want to explore some more stuff with the workplaces like production times.

Hey, everyone!

This is a quick update as I won't be able to post one on Friday, it's mainly art and a new tutorial so nothing too big yet.

🔹NEW: Some more art for big rocks, Grass, flint, etc.

🔹TWEAK: Removed right-click to cancel a placed building (accidental removal was too common)

DEMO PATCH #28 - Art overhaul + Roadmap

It's finally time for a new update.
We're still working hard on the roadmap stuff on the experimental branch, but we also added some new things and fixes to the Main branch.

[h3]NEW[/h3]
NEW: Character animation as they swap profession
NEW: Deer visuals and animations
NEW: Bird Visuals and animation
NEW: Tree visuals and animations
NEW: Berrybush visuals and animations
NEW: Rock visuals
NEW: Updated environmental visuals

[h3]TWEAKS[/h3]
TWEAK: The farm now needs plank instead of logs.

[h3]FIXES[/h3]
FIXED: Faith statue showing as a farm
FIXED: The arrow for powers would follow slowly causing an unwanted position of usage
FIXED: Some buildings were not upgradeable but still showed an upgrade button.
FIXED: Villagers would not pick up items from birds or destroyed buildings
