  • [p]Non-combat UI currently uses a controller-simulated mouse, and controller-related options are limited for now - it will be improved in future updates.[/p]
  • [p]Tested with an Xbox controller and Steam Deck; other devices may not work properly.[/p]
  • [p]To play on the Steam Deck, pick the Gamepad with Joystick Trackpad layout.[/p]

  • [p]New Workbench upgrade: Stonecutter - allows building stone structures within the upgraded Workbench's radius.[/p]

Patch Notes 0.2.7

[p]This is an intermediate patch introducing two new systems before the content update planned for this December.[/p][p][/p][h3]World Tiers[/h3][p][/p][p]Baseline enemy health and damage were significantly reduced - a new player in a new world should now be able to easily handle packs of same-level enemies.[/p][p][/p][p]A new buildable structure, the Altar of Rites, allows you to unlock and switch World Tiers, which define enemy health and damage within the world, as well as the experience and loot you receive from them.[/p][p][/p][p]As you progress through the tiers, enemies that were trivial become more challenging and require better gear, a stronger build, and deeper game knowledge.[/p][p][/p][p]This system allows everyone to progress at their own pace - from newcomers to seasoned ARPG veterans.[/p][p][/p][h3]Difficulty[/h3][p][/p][p]World modifiers were replaced with new Difficulty settings that mostly affect the survival part of the game, defining how challenging you want your world to be.
[/p][p]Unlike World Tiers, these settings do not provide increased rewards (other than unique achievements, available only on the Hard preset).
[/p][p]Here are the two most requested settings:
[/p][p]1. Night Raids[/p]
  • [p]None: No extra enemies at night.[/p]
  • [p]Easy: Every night, a few additional enemies of your level spawn nearby.[/p]
  • [p]Normal: More enemies spawn, and they are more aggressive.[/p]
  • [p]Hard: Enemies are numerous and formidable. Additionally, during Full Moon nights (every 14 in-game days), enemies keep spawning throughout the entire night![/p]
[p]2. Death Penalty[/p]
  • [p]None: You don't lose anything on death.[/p]
  • [p]Easy: You lose a small amount of experience.[/p]
  • [p]Normal: You lose more experience and drop your inventory.[/p]
  • [p]Hard: You lose a large amount of experience and drop all your items.[/p]
[p][/p][p]Additional options allow you to lock the world settings or prevent lowering the world tier after it has been activated. Note: both are enabled in the Hard preset![/p][p][/p][h3]Misc[/h3]
  • [p]Added two new triangular wall pieces![/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug that caused a stack of food to lose its effects when split.[/p]
  • [p]Improved rendering of Chinese, Japanese, and Korean text.[/p]

Patch Notes 0.2.5[/h2][p][/p][p]While a bigger update is still in the works, this patch delivers what's ready โˆ’ the first achievements and some gameplay changes:[/p][p][/p][h3]General[/h3]
  • [p]The first ๐Ÿ† 16 achievements are now available, with more to be added soon.[/p]
  • [p]The extra movement speed while not attacking, previously granted by the Rested buff, is now baseline.[/p]
  • [p]Rested now increases experience gained from kills by 20%.[/p]
[h3]Stats[/h3]
  • [p]Strength now also increases Health gained on hit, on kill, and from potions.[/p]
  • [p]Intellect now also increases Mana gained from all sources.
    Previously, it only affected Mana per second, but there were no ways to increase it beyond the 0.5/sec baseline.[/p]
  • [p]Armor now also affects damage-over-time effects.[/p]
[h3]Skills[/h3]
  • [p]Chain lightning now properly chains between enemies instead of only hitting those in front of you. Its tooltip mentioned it could hit up to 5 targets, but this limit didn't work - it will stay as it was, but each jump now reduces damage by 10%.[/p]
  • [p]New legendary affix for Light armor: Unlimited Power - Chain Lightning no longer has a cooldown. Each subsequent cast within 3 seconds deals increased damage but costs more Mana.[/p]
  • [p]New legendary affix for Heavy armor: Aftershock - Earthstrike triggers multiple aftershocks, each dealing 20% of the initial damage.[/p]
[h3]Glyphs[/h3]
  • [p]Windshadow and Resonance have been redesigned.[/p]
  • [p]Windshadow, Resonance, Audacity, and Deadly Precision can now roll as affixes on legendary rings.[/p]
[h3]Misc[/h3]
  • [p]Forest Fire (legendary affix) now properly increases the duration of fire DoTs.[/p]
  • [p]Character stats sheet now displays more stats.[/p]

  • [p]Fixed a bug that caused bosses to deal excessive damage to player-built structures.[/p]
  • [p]Drowned Cook's spinning bones now properly disappear when the encounter ends.[/p]
  • [p]Skeleton Overlord now correctly uses all of his abilities.[/p]
  • [p]Bosses now drop 2-3 legendary and 1-2 rare items.[/p]
[p]Skills[/p]
  • [p]New skill for mage builds: Flame Shield (dropped by 2-star Drowned Mages).[/p]
  • [p]Multi-Shot: Damage and on-hit multiplier reduced. New: each unique enemy hit increases the damage of the next Multi-Shot.
    Despite its name, Multi-Shot was most effective at short-range single-target damage and triggering on-hit effects. This change makes the skill more balanced and versatile.[/p]
  • [p]All arrows now fly for 1 second, reducing their maximum range from 32 to 20โ€“24 units (depending on type).
    Still long enough for combat, but less likely to pull unwanted enemies with stray arrows.[/p]
[p]Glyphs[/p]
  • [p]Glyph of Turtle's Wisdom: Tension now also reduces damage taken.[/p]
  • [p]Bear Might: redesigned for melee builds.[/p]

  • [p]Amplification effect reduced, but now also applies to the rare (blue) affix on the item.[/p]
  • [p]Legendary affix Mortal Wounds is now correctly treated as a kill, granting experience and triggering on-kill effects.[/p]
[p]Enemies[/p]
  • [p]Reduced damage scaling for higher-level enemies.[/p]
  • [p]Enemy climbing abilities now roughly match the player's.[/p]
  • [p]Summoned enemies no longer drop loot or grant experience.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug that caused enemies to always grant full experience regardless of level difference. Experience is now properly scaled down, reaching 0 when the difference is 10 levels or more (indicated by a gray number on the nameplate).[/p]

  • [p]Spellforge now offers new enchants for Chest, Cloak, and Rings.[/p]
  • [p]Packing Table now correctly increases maximum stack size in the Stash by 50% (additive on top of the default 200%).[/p]

  • [p]Excess critical chance is no longer converted into critical damage.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug that caused basic attacks to restore health or mana multiple times per attack.[/p]
