Patch Notes 0.2.2

[p]Base Building[/p]
  • [p]You should no longer clip through the floor.
    Known issues: this may still happen when spawning or when building over deep water.[/p]
  • [p]Base structures now have better resistance to higher-level enemy attacks.[/p]
  • [p]Sharp Stakes now deal 100% of the damage they take back to enemies attacking them in melee range (was a fixed amount).[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug that caused base structures to be vulnerable to Arcane damage (most importantly, Ghost explosions).[/p]
  • [p]Storage Boxes can now be placed under Packing Tables.[/p]
[p]Bugs[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug that caused enemies to camp endlessly at the player's death spot.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug that caused +Slash and +Pierce damage affixes to incorrectly increase Fire damage.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug that caused wands to consume arrows.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug that caused save file corruption if the game was closed during world loading.[/p]
[p]Misc[/p]
  • [p]Raft no longer requires a rope and now sails 20% faster.[/p]
  • [p]Enemies no longer attack portals.[/p]
  • [p]World loading is now faster.[/p]
  • [p]Bosses no longer follow players into the ocean.[/p]
  • [p]Nighttime raiders can no longer have more than 1 star (and the strongest of them can't have any).[/p]

Patch Notes 0.2.1 & 0.2.2

[p]While big updates are still being worked on, this patch addresses the most important issues players reported within the first two days after launch.

General[/p]
  • [p]New option: Friendly Fire (off by default) - allows damage to player-built objects.[/p]
  • [p]Night spawns are now less frequent, contain fewer enemies, and can no longer incorrectly spawn inside player bases.[/p]
  • [p]Teleporting now grants an aura that makes enemies ignore you for 10 seconds or until you attack.[/p]
[p][/p][p]World[/p][p]Some issues with world generation caused entities to be missing or to never respawn.[/p][p]⚠️Unfortunately, these fixes only apply to newly created worlds:[/p]
  • [p]Islands are now larger and should always contain the intended content (specifically Ghosts).[/p]
  • [p]Most enemies now respawn properly within 2-4 in-game days.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug where islands ignored the world seed, which caused different layouts of POIs with the same seed.[/p]
[p]Note: you can play the same character across multiple worlds.[/p][p][/p][p]Transmutation[/p][p]Originally planned as part of Alchemy (which didn't make it into launch).[/p][p]For now, 3 new recipes are available at the Spellforge:[/p]
  • [p]Linen to Copper[/p]
  • [p]Linen to Tin[/p]
  • [p]Silk to Iron[/p]
[p][/p][p]Misc[/p][p]Some of these fixes had already been implemented earlier but were not documented:[/p]
  • [p]Skeletons now drop more Silk.[/p]
  • [p]Bosses can no longer be frozen.[/p]
  • [p]Ironhead Arrows now correctly appear at the Workbench after discovering Iron Bars.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed several localization issues where text was missing or incorrect.[/p]
  • [p]Freezing damage reduced from 10% to 5% health per second, and now starts closer to the coast.[/p]
  • [p]Silver Lockboxes now contain 2-3 Silver (was 1-2).[/p]
  • [p]Enemies no longer chase players into the deep ocean.[/p]
  • [p]Ghosts now have a higher chance to drop Ghostweave.[/p]
  • [p]Drowned Cook's Enrage now lasts 5 seconds and no longer stacks (still dispellable with bone piles).[/p]

Worlds
  • Added new world modifier that spawns additional enemies at night.
  • Newly created demo islands now feature rivers and more varied terrain.
  • Added rainy weather. Have you already built your roofs?
Crafting
  • Added new Bronze tools.
  • Added Sharpening Wheel for restoring durability to metal tools.
Misc
  • Reduced all Trait cooldowns from 20 to 15 minutes.
Buildings
  • Building snapping is now available!
  • Buildings now require connection to the terrain, or they will collapse.
  • Added 3 Thatch Roof pieces.
Notable bugs
  • Fixed a bug that caused arrows to disappear without dealing damage.
  • Fixed a bug that caused items to lose extra stacked amounts in Stash.
