Back from Holidays and Gamescom with a little performance patch

Development progression is back ! (slowly but surely)

So I came back from holiday and immediately dropped into Gamescom and it was good.
The game was showcases at the Indie Arena together with 150 other games. Which I guess says something about today's landscape eh.

But lo and behold at the end they handed out the booth awards , and Bulwark won best CommUnity (sponsored and managed by Unity via Twitter/X) award of the booth.

Any time where the public gets to choose is exciting and great, so what a great start of the next phase of development.

But you know me , shiney baubles and blinkey lights got me distracted, as part of the prize I got a steamdeck!!! And I booted up Bulwark and performance was a laggish 45-50fps , in an empty location.

That cannot stand. So today's update to the demo/build is a performance update aimed at lower spec machines. It stabilizes steamdeck framerate and makes it more 55-60 fps range.

I also added an ultra setting to the shadows, cuz that was easy while I was optimizing the shadow and AO.

So that's a little update, I'll be hard at work the next months, got some thinking done on the grander strategy parts of the game and I think some interesting changes are afoot.
