Updates to MMB orbit and photomode



  • changed middle mouse orbit sensitivity range (from camera sensitivity)
  • added some help on resources and the buildine to splash and controller screen
  • changed icon what tower will be selected next (nearest to cursor in ground mode)
  • made photomode mouse hardwaremouse
  • allowed photomode camera to tilt to 90 degrees
  • hid photomode keys when moving the camera
  • added a play/pause button to photomode (Space Bar/ Left Stick Down)
  • screenshot button ingame only responds to when you release the key/button
  • photomode keys for play/pause and respawn/rewind added to the photomode controls list

More surveyor controller tweaks

  • surveyor camera tracking now only kicks in at speed, so camera orientation is static when doing small manouvres
  • surveyor camera tracking doesn't change pitch of camera
  • default resolution changed to 1080p rather than the broken native detection

Small update with some controls improvements and a bugfix

  • centered the camera on the vehicle while flying
  • middle mouse orbit is faster
  • surveyor is a bit faster to turn so less wobbly
  • default volume is 60% of max
  • units spawned from command towers didn't respawn after the 6th one spawned (across sessions), fixed


Post PAX urgent patch

These were issues easy to fix and quite obvious when playing the game at PAX, so here's a quick update.

  • Vertical camera obit rotation was slower on higher framerates than the horizontal rotation
  • Photomode button prompts no longer showing ingame after using steam screenshot shortcut
  • Navigating between floors doesn't hide the GUI
  • Photomode cam is less floaty
  • controller screen displaying edge turning properly
  • controller screen mouse clicks on right or left on the sensitivity value now decreases or increases value
  • made MMB orbit less floaty


As per usual : new issues may appear, in such a case report them immediately and I'll get to fixing them.

Middle Mouse Orbit update

A small update here's the breakdown

  • Mouse orbit is enabled on the Middle Mouse Button by default, its inversion is the same as the camera inversion if you want to change that in the controller screen, as is the sensitivity.
  • Some typos and spelling issues were reported and hopefully fixed
  • Mouse position is now relative to the Render Texture not the Unity (wrongly) reported Screensize, this with DSL and other higher than native resolutions. This does not fix launching the game with a resolution too high, but rather if it happens at least the mouse should work normally.
  • Added the keybinding reminders for Photomode to the photomode.


And remember every update is a chance for new bugs or issues, please report any weirdness so I can revert or fix.
