• Spent most of the week addressing feedback from the latest playtest.
Worked extensively on the Cinematics Module:
• Achieved the functionality needed for my vision, but the learning curve was significant.
• Focused on capturing additional footage from the three environments created so far.
• Remade the trailer with improved visuals and pacing.
• Fixed skeleton geometry collections for more satisfying and dynamic explosions.
Implemented various UI improvements:
• Health bar: Reduced its size for a cleaner HUD.
• Round timer: Switched from numerical display to a slider for better visual clarity.
Encountered a major issue with screen resolution scaling:
• A catastrophic bug nearly derailed progress.
• ChatGPT helped solve the issue, saving hours of frustration.
• Still iterating on the progression system
