Update 1.4 - The Beast Escapes + New DLC
[p]Hello, Survivors![/p][p]Everybody likes to tell the story of Theseus and the Labyrinth.
Update 1.4 starts a different tale: the monster is out, it’s angry, and it’s looking for a fight.[/p][p]And since you have been sending us a steady stream of feedback, we also added 2 most requested languages, rebalanced Rebirth a bit, and even added some fun stuff to the game. Let’s get started.[/p][h2][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink]\[DLC] New Survivor - Become the Beast of the Labyrinth[/h2][p]If you ever read the myth and thought “fine, but what about the Minotaur?” - we have something for you.[/p][p]
[/p][p]Minotaur is a Warrior built to stay in the middle of the fight. His kit rewards you for standing your ground in the melee instead of running away.[/p]
[/p][p]If you’re in the mood to try something different from your usual runs, the Minotaur is a fun excuse to do it. He’s our biggest Survivor yet - literally! - a towering wall of muscle and horns that changes the feel of melee play instantly. If that sounds fun to you, the DLC is now available on Steam:[/p][p]https://store.steampowered.com/app/4315660/Achilles_Survivor__The_Beast_of_the_Labyrinth/[/p][p][/p][h2]New stuff for everyone in 1.4[/h2][p]But of course, there is something for everyone in our new update:[/p][h3]🏛 New Structure: Daedalus’ Labyrinth[/h3][p]A high-HP structure (limited to 1 build at a time) that sends out an expanding pulse to damage nearby enemies, and heals you for 10% of the damage dealt (you don’t need to stand in its range to get healed).[/p][p]If it gets destroyed, it returns to your build pool so you can roll it again later.[/p][h3]🪓 New Power: Minotaur Axe[/h3][p]A heavy, frontal axe combo that hits in a quick 3-swing sequence (left-to-right, right-to-left, then a finishing swing) in front of your Survivor, perfect for melee-first builds.[/p][p]
[/p][h3]🛡️ New Pickup - Minotaur Armor[/h3][p]A new chest/shop item that gives you a temporary Armor boost when you need to survive the ugly part of the run.[/p][h3]✨ New Transformation for Battering Ram: “You Shall Not Pass”[/h3][p]Unlock a new transformation that reflects incoming projectiles, making ranged waves far less annoying (and a lot more satisfying).[/p][p]

- [p]His unique power, Heavy Stomp, allows him to slam the ground and crush nearby enemies with the full weight of his hooves.[/p]
- [p]Thanks to his talent, once you defeat 150 enemies using melee powers, a furious spectral echo is summoned, charging forward and trampling everything in its path.[/p]
- [p]His bonus stats: +450 Max Health, +25% Melee Damage, +20% Critical Damage make him even more formidable fighter.[/p]

- [p]Rebirth now feels better, faster with new improvements:[/p]
- [p]New Powers after Rebirth now appear earlier during the run.[/p]
- [p]After Rebirth you now gain a permanent +10% EXP bonus, helping you to level up quicker.[/p]
- [p]Hermes’ Sandals now also increase Dodge chance (on top of movement speed), allowing you to avoid enemy attacks.[/p]
- [p]Bosses gained partial resistance to Poison, as Poison was melting them too fast.[/p]
- [p]Structure damage scaling over time has been reduced - turret-style builds were scaling too hard in longer runs.[/p]
- [p]Improved damage feedback so hits are clearer and easier to read in the chaos.[/p]
- [p]Pandora’s Box event now has a short delay before champions spawn after you enter the circle, giving you a moment to reposition.[/p]
- [p]Rebirth achievement reward description now clearly mentions the extra Power slot reward.[/p]
- [p]Manual Aim support added for Paris’ Talent “Arrow in the Heel”.[/p]
- [p]Console versions will jump straight from 1.2 to 1.4 - we’re sorry for the delay, fortunately we are slowly preparing the new update for the release as we speak.[/p]
- [p]We’re currently working hard on our third game, Brightfall - (if you are into open world survival craft games, we encourage you to check it out ☺️)… that being said, we have more planned for Achilles this year, so stay tuned! [dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p]
