Community Update 1.3 + Big News

[p]Survivors,[/p][p]you keep sending us ideas, bug reports and “what if we could…” messages. Community Update 1.3 is our way of saying: we hear you. Here is what has changed, all based on your feedback.[/p][p]PS: Keep reading - the last one is the most important ːzoteː[/p]
🗝 Rebirth, now improved
[p]Rebirth was a powerful idea, but in practice it felt like you were giving up a lot for too little. Time to fix that.[/p][p]If you choose Rebirth, a new event can now spawn on maps: Pandora’s Box.
Open it and things get serious fast. Tough enemies will spill out and try to end your run on the spot.[/p][p]Defeat them and you will receive three rounds of rewards:[/p]
  • [p]each round lets you pick 1 out of 4 Improvements for your existing Powers[/p]
[p]This is meant to help you really use those extra Power slots you unlocked with Rebirth by leveling up much faster.[/p]
🎯 Mouse controls and smarter aiming
[p]This one was one of the most common requests on Steam and Discord.[/p]
  • [p]You can now play using mouse controls if that is your preferred way to survive the hordes[/p]
  • [p]Most Powers also gained an option to auto target the nearest enemy, which makes aiming smoother and more accessible, especially for new players[/p]
[p]For controller users we also added a small but important tweak:[/p]
  • [p]if auto aim is enabled, letting go of the analog stick now turns auto aim off, so you can instantly switch back from the manual precision when you need it[/p]
🇮🇹 New language: Italian
[p]Welcome to the battlefield, Italian Survivors![/p][p]Update 1.3 adds full Italian support in menus, UI and gameplay.
It was one of the most requested languages, so we are very happy to finally say: benvenuti.[/p]
🛡 Structures, crits and balance
[p]A few balance changes aimed at keeping late game runs challenging, but fair:[/p]
  • [p]Structures now gain HP over time and with difficulty
Your defenses toughen up as the run goes on, so they are not instantly deleted in the late stages.[/p]
  • [p]Critical Hit Chance now has a cap
Crit chance can no longer reach 100%. High end builds should still feel powerful, but there should always be some risk.[/p]
🛠 Quality of life improvements
[p]A lot of small changes that should make every run feel smoother:[/p]
  • [p]Nezha’s Power now starts in the direction of the nearest enemy instead of straight ahead, which makes his opening moments much more reliable[/p]
  • [p]Pythia’s Power has been strengthened so it feels more useful early on rather than “good later, if you manage to survive weak now”[/p]
  • [p]Post run summary flow was cleaned up[/p]
    • [p]first tap on Space shows the stat screen[/p]
    • [p]second tap returns you to the main menu
No more accidentally skipping your summary because you pressed Space too fast.[/p]
  • [p]Rebirth button is now easier to see and understand, so you do not miss it when you are ready for a fresh start[/p]
  • [p]Highlighting Hard difficulty now clearly explains that this mode is where you earn Divine Crystals, which was one of the most common questions[/p]
  • [p]When you reach the maximum level for a class, the game now makes it clear, so you know you squeezed every drop of power out of that Survivor[/p]
🤝 You are in the game
[p]One change that means a lot to us.[/p][p]We have added a new section in the Credits that highlights the community’s contribution to Achilles: Survivor.[/p][p]If you have a moment, open the Credits, scroll through, and remember: you are part of this story with us.[/p][p] [/p][p]But wait…[/p]
🌒 Somewhere far, far away from Tartarus…
[p]You survived a fight with Hades himself. Now try surviving the night on an island the Crown erased from its maps.[/p][p]We’re excited to introduce our next game: BRIGHTFALL.[/p][p]It’s an open world survival-craft roguelite for one up to 4 players, set on a XVII century plague born island off the English coast.[/p][p]If you enjoy Achilles: Survivor for its mythological vibe and that "one more run" feeling, Brightfall takes that tension into a shared world you can explore with friends (or alone! both options are good!). You expand a fragile outpost, manage light as your most precious resource, and watch the island change as each failed expedition reshapes it.[/p][p]If that sounds like your kind of trouble, check out the Steam page and add Brightfall to your wishlist here:
