Important Notice – Bug Report (Fixed)

[p]Hey everyone,[/p][p]After Patch 0.38, a few players have reported a bug related to the wardrobe in Ealish's room.[/p][p][/p][p]⚠️ Important: Please avoid re-saving your current save file for now, as it may cause the wardrobe data to be permanently overwritten.

For example, if you loaded the game from slot 2, try not to overwrite it for now — the correct data about your stored items is still there, just not currently visible in-game.[/p][p][/p][p]The issue: Items that were previously stored in the wardrobe in Ealish's room have been replaced with the default set — specifically, the 4 pieces of Uniform E-1. This happened because I updated the item initialization system in 0.38 to support dynamic inventory resizing (like expanding or shrinking storage space). Unfortunately, this unintentionally caused some inventory data to reset.[/p][p][/p][p]I’m already looking into the issue and will try to have it fixed later today.[/p][p][/p][p]Really sorry for the inconvenience, and thank you so much for your patience and support! [/p][p][/p]

[p][/p][p]The issue has been fixed and shouldn’t happen again. You can safely load your saves and check the wardrobe.[/p][p][/p][p]If you had fewer than four items stored in Ealish’s room wardrobe, this bug likely didn’t affect you. In the worst case, you might see an extra set of Ealish’s Uniform E-1 — basically ending up with two sets.[/p][p][/p][p]If you’d like to get rid of the extra one, you can simply place it in a loot bag dropped by a zombie. The bag will disappear along with any items you leave inside.[/p]

Lunar Eclipse - Update 0.38

[p]Hi everyone![/p][p]Today I’m sharing a small update while you’re waiting for the next area to arrive. It includes some new outfits, a few fixes, and quality-of-life improvements.[/p]
New Content
• [p]Added two new outfits: School Sports Uniform and School Swimsuit.[/p]
  • [p]In total, this update adds 11 new clothing items, including multiple color variations.[/p]
[p][/p]
  • [p]A new magazine has been placed in the Basement Save Room.
Since players often find it earlier than the one in the locker, the sewing tutorial has also been moved there to better match the progression.[/p]
Fixes & Improvements
• [p]Fixed an issue where the character could stand up and attack from a crouching position even when there wasn’t enough space. This should no longer occur.[/p]
  • [p]Added a few short voice lines to notify you when Ealish can’t stand or attack due to low ceilings or tight spaces.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an item duplication exploit that could occur when using "Place / Store" while the "Move" action was still active.[/p]
  • [p]Improved gamepad sensitivity settings. The slider’s maximum value has been increased from 1 to 2, offering more flexibility for players to adjust the controls to their liking.[/p]
  • [p]Added a new Motion Blur setting in the Graphics tab. You can now control how intense the effect is - or turn it off entirely if you prefer a cleaner look.[/p]
  • [p]The current game version is now displayed in the Save window for convenience.[/p]
  • [p]Expanded the basement storage box from 16 to 32 slots to better support the growing number of outfit pieces.[/p]
  • [p]Adjusted item drop rates from zombies to make loot feel more balanced and less overwhelming.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a movement issue that occurred when pressing opposite directional inputs (such as Left and Right) simultaneously.[/p]
[p]That’s all for now! Thank you so much for your support and patience.[/p][p]Things might be a little quiet for a bit while I focus on developing the next chunk of content, but I’m always reading your feedback — so feel free to share your thoughts.[/p][p]And if you haven’t yet, you’re welcome to join the Discord community to stay in the loop.[/p][p]Thanks again, and see you in the next update!

Lunar Eclipse - Update 0.37.6

[p]Hello everyone!
[/p][p]While I’ve been quietly releasing small updates here and there, I wanted to share a dedicated announcement for this one — because Lunar Eclipse now supports Cloud Saves![/p][p]This update also includes a few important fixes and improvements:[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug where crouching speed matched walking speed.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where stamina could get stuck, requiring extra button presses to recover.[/p]
  • [p]Improved the loading process — this should reduce cases where the game crashes when starting a new game for the first time.[/p]
[p]At the moment, I’m working on a new outfit and progress on the third area continues. The outfit will be released next week as part of a small update to bring a bit more content while I continue building the next big story section.[/p][p][/p][p]Thanks so much for your support — you’ve been an awesome community![/p][p][/p]

[p][/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p]

Lunar Eclipse has launched in Early Access!

Hello everyone!
Today marks a huge step forward — both for me as a developer, and for you, the incredible community behind Lunar Eclipse.

It’s been a long road since I first started working on this project — and an even longer one since I first dreamed of making my own game.
The very first prototype of Lunar Eclipse was created more than five years ago.
Back then, as a 3D artist, I knew almost nothing about development or programming. I could barely use Unreal Engine.
A lot has happened since then. For a while, the project was shelved, waiting for a better moment. That moment finally came last year, when I decided to bring it back — this time, doing it all on my own. I believed that if I started showing something to the world, someone might believe in it, too.

From that point on, I wasn’t just creating 3D assets anymore — I started learning programming, game design, and all the technical challenges that come with bringing a game to life.
As time passed, Lunar Eclipse started to grow — not just as a project, but as a community.
And that’s what I’m most grateful for. Your support and kind words gave me the motivation to keep going through the toughest moments of development.

The first major milestone was back in February, when we launched the demo during Steam Next Fest.
Today, we take the second big step: the Early Access release of Lunar Eclipse.

A brand-new journey lies ahead, full of content still to come — new areas, new puzzles, deeper storylines, new outfits, and more.
This is just the beginning, and I’m beyond excited to continue building this game with you by my side.

Thank you for staying with me this far — and I hope you’ll stay for the rest of the ride. Let’s keep growing together and welcoming even more friends into our community.

Lunar Eclipse - Update 0.37.4

Hello everyone!

Since there’s only one day left until the Early Access launch, I decided to improve the build tracking system as early as possible.

Over time, I noticed that without proper version tracking, many players could get confused when loading old save files in newer versions of the game. This can lead to bugs and glitches, and it became clear that a better system was necessary to prevent issues like these in the future.
How this affects you:
All save files created before update 0.37.4 will now be marked as "Unknown."
This means that to ensure proper game tracking, you’ll need to start a new game from scratch.
I really didn’t want to make such a radical change, but unfortunately, it became necessary. I’m truly sorry for the inconvenience.

That said, I believe it was better to introduce this now rather than face even worse confusion down the road.
What you should know:
Depending on where you discovered Lunar Eclipse, you may be using one of three different builds:
  • Development
  • Demo
  • Early Access (available June 4th)

Each of these builds can have a different world state. For example, if you save your game in the Development build, that save will reflect the Development version of the world. Loading that same save in the Early Access version could cause unintended behavior — some objects might be unexpectedly activated or deactivated. In the worst-case scenario, you could spawn in the middle of nowhere.

Previously, players could unknowingly do this, but now that the community is growing, I had to make a decision to solve the problem.

This new system allows me to keep all three versions of the game updated while minimizing the risk of save file conflicts.

Here’s how the loading menu looks from now on:

Also, since Lunar Eclipse is mostly puzzle-based, I’m sure many of you can breeze through the game again fairly quickly — though I’m still really sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks so much for your understanding and support. It truly means a lot to me ❤️
