Patch 3.12 (Cumulative Updates)

[p] Greetings![/p][p]As many of you have noticed, we have been releasing some updates (some larger than others) without announcement (sorry about that).[/p][p]However, today we are bringing you a summary of the content from the last update (back at the end of summer) until now... We are confident that you will like them![/p][p][/p][p]Changes from 3.9 to 3.12 (inclusive):[/p]
  1. [p]Units. [/p]
    • [p]Balancing of some units, in most cases, improvement of less used units to match their counterparts. [/p]
    • [p]Improvement of the keywords Brave and Imperial.[/p]
  2. [p]Abilities. [/p]
    • [p]New abilities for units such as the Dwarf Warmachine, with a powerful devastating fire cannon, or a quick ‘life-sucking’ attack from the Shielded Dwarf.[/p]
    • [p]Balancing of specific abilities. [/p]
    • [p]New attack animation for the Devastating Wave skill to wipe out your opponents.[/p]
  3. [p]Game mode[/p]
    • [p]NEW ARCADE game mode. An even more challenging game mode where enemies attack you in endless waves. Plan your deployment and survive as many waves as possible with an unbeatable strategy.[/p]
    • [p]Minor balance adjustments in the campaign[/p]
  4. [p]UI[/p]
    • [p]Sound control in the options settings, differentiating between “UI sound” and “sound effects” in the game. [/p]
    • [p]Improved formatting of skill descriptions during gameplay.[/p]
    • [p]Improved formatting of attribute descriptions in the selected unit's data panel.[/p]
    • [p]Improved window management and game screen mode changes. [/p]
  5. [p]Audio[/p]
    • [p]Improved sounds for obtaining tokens and rewards.[/p]
    • [p]Adjusted interface sounds. [/p]

Patch 3.8 Localization into Catalan.

[p]Hey there![/p][p]We hope you are enjoying these months and we apologize for reducing the number of announcements.[/p][p]As you know, we have been dedicating time to new prototypes and projects while continuing (and continuing!) with the development of new updates for Mind of War. [/p][p]With this update, we have worked on incorporating new languages and localization options, and we have added Catalan as a new language option.[/p][p][/p][p]To highlight some of the changes we've made since our previous announcements: [/p]
  • [p]Balancing of units, keywords, and altered states.[/p]
  • [p]Option in local multiplayer mode to choose the first player at random.[/p]
  • [p]Improved visual effects when obtaining chests and tokens.[/p]
  • [p]Minor corrections related to game pausing and AI.[/p]

Patch 3.6 - Balancing and upgrades

[p]Hello![/p][p]During this month we have been uploading small updates without much news (too hot to write these textsːsteamboredː )[/p][p][/p][p]Here we bring you a summary of the most relevant changes:[/p]
  • [p]New option to load the last deployment you played. Useful when you want to repeat a level, with the same strategy or make variations from the deployment you did.[/p]
  • [p]New unit: Guardian Newt. Bringing the strength of the sea to the elven faction.[/p]
  • [p]New abilities.[/p]
  • [p]Mutation units have a higher damage bonus when wounded but will now also lose life every turn. [/p]
  • [p]Adjustment of points available in certain engagements[/p]
  • [p]New levels of some common, uncommon and rare units and abilities.[/p][p][/p]

Patch 3.4

As you have probably seen, we have been releasing small unannounced updates approximately every week or even two in a week.
We've been tweaking things in the passive words and making some minor balancing adjustments, some sound correction, and various details.

With this patch update, we consider that we are closing down that set of balancing in the wake of the latest keyword additions (this doesn't mean that we won't continue to balance the game, of course).
In this update we can highlight two changes, the first one, new descriptions (tooltips) in the unit data in combat, we can see a small description of the two statistics (strength and armour) that are shown in the unit panel.

The second, and perhaps more important, is the correction of the bug described in the previous announcement, which is now fixed. So the ‘preview’ of damage done, specifically in skills that involve movement, should correctly display the damage, even though there may be passives that can affect, as well as stop affecting, due to such movement.

Patch 3.3

Hello!!!
Following some suggestions, small fixes and new passive skills, along with a little bit of balancing, we bring you a new update for you to enjoy the game in a better version.

Here are the changes in this version:
  1. Passive
    • Imperial : Increase their damage if they have an adjacent Imperial allied unit, and also if they have a Hero allied unit.
    • Hellish: Increases their damage if they have an adjacent Infernal allied unit, if it is the last Hellish unit it gets a big damage and resistance bonus.
  2. Units
    • Ironclad Dwarf : Gains the Coarse Skin passive. Has had its health reduced slightly to compensate.
    • Other units have been adjusted for their previous or new passives (Imperial and Infernal).
  3. Skills
    • War Cry : No longer heals user's health. It now costs 0 action points. Raises its summon point cost.
    • Certainty Arrow : Deals more damage at later levels. Applies Focused on a previous level. The range at later levels no longer increases, remaining at 3 at all levels.
    • Long Arrow : Deals more damage at all levels. Focused no longer applies to any level. Reduced cost at all levels except the last one. Reduced the number of uses per turn, except for the last level.
  4. Encounters
    • Points adjustment on some encounters based on passives added and results since previous update.
  5. Bugs
    • Fixed a bug where, in multi-requirement matches, the name of the completed match was displayed instead of the remaining match to be completed.
    • A significant bug has been reported: when using a move ability that applies damage, the calculation of expected damage may differ in terms of changing the conditions of adjacent units before and after the move.
