⚔️ Royal Revolt Roundup #02: Surviving together in Multiplayer!

[p][/p][p][/p][p]Greetings Survivors,[/p][p]and welcome back to the second issue of our update series 'Royal Revolt Roundup'! Today we want to take a little dive into all the different possibilities for you to join your friends in multiplayer sessions and enter the world of Royal Revolt Survivors together. Let’s get right into it![/p][p]Even the strongest heroes may be in need of some reinforcements from time to time. When facing the forces of evil, every blade is of utmost value! This is true for the world of Royal Revolt as well. Join forces with up to 4 survivors and carve a path through waves of ravaging monsters towards your victory in jolly cooperation![/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Local Multiplayer:[/p][p]Play together in classic couch-coop style! Just connect your controllers to the PC and tap the buttons - displayed in the main menu - to add another player. If you're short on controllers or prefer good old dual-wielding, one player can join with mouse and keyboard.[/p][p]Online Multiplayer:[/p][p]Sometimes it's hard to find time to get together on the same couch. But don’t worry: we’ve got you covered! Simply click the Multiplayer button at the top in the main menu to start a multiplayer session. Use the Steam overlay to invite friends directly. They can join via the friend list as well once multiplayer is active.[/p][p]But what about both? Both is good, right? That’s exactly what we thought as well![/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Combined Local and Online Multiplayer:[/p][p]Our system offers full flexibility here, too! Whether it's two players on the couch and two online, three couch players with a fourth joining online, or any other combination - It's all possible! Start the multiplayer, and invite the friends that are joining online. And if both of you have a buddy sitting next to you as well? Easy! Just press the prompted button on your additional gamepad(s). Another player will be added, allowing easy play with multiple people through one account.[/p][p]Once all players have joined, everyone selects their character. Be careful though, as each character may only be picked once. When you are done drafting your team, select the map you want to play and jump right into the action![/p][p]During your sessions, you’ll have to strategically decide how to share equipment and resources. Have an eye on your teammates as well! If a warrior fades, you can resurrect them to join the fight once more! Look out for your fellow squad members so all of you survive and emerge victorious.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]But no matter if you live or die: All the progress you achieve together is shared for Quests and of course everyone gets all that sweet Gold you gathered to return even stronger for your next adventure.[/p][p]What are you waiting for?
