[p][/p][p][/p][p]Greetings again, Survivors![/p][p][/p][p]As we’re inching closer and closer to the day we finally get to share Royal Revolt Survivors with all you patient survivors (Tomorrow! Wednesday, October 15!), we thought we’d drop a little summary post of what you can expect from tomorrows Early Access launch that we’ve worked on so hard for the last couple of years.[/p][p]While we’re feeling extremely proud of the final result, and are confident that you’ll have a great time, we think it’s always a good idea to lay out the features of the game in black and white, so you know what to expect before spending your hard-earned money![/p][p][/p][p]So without further ado, this is the Royal Revolt Survivors Early Access launch in a nutshell:[/p]

• [p]A top-down roguelite actioner with survivors-style combat and high replayability[/p]
• [p]Co-op mode for 1-4 players (online, on one PC, or a combination of both)[/p]
• [p]Hordes of hundreds of ferocious enemies with different movement patterns and attacks, culminating in epic boss battles[/p]

• [p]30 Weapons and weapon evolutions[/p]

Woohoo! ✅[/p][p]What does that mean? It's simple, you can survive with the King, Mina, Sam, Christa, and all the others on the Steam Deck wherever you want: at home on the couch, on the train, or in the deepest Royal Forest - just about anywhere![/p][p]See you on the (portable) battlefield really soon!

[p][/p][p][/p][p]Welcome back, Survivors,[/p][p]This is the third issue of our update series 'Royal Revolt Roundup'! From time to time, brave survivors use a powerful spell called 'Livestream' to share their adventures within the world of Royal Revolt and call for assistance from other mighty spellcasters across a dimension called  'Twitch'.  But they never know if those mages will send them a token of generosity or another envoy of chaos…[/p][p]This time, we want to share something special for all the heroes among you that stream their adventures within Royal Revolt Survivors on Twitch! If you are a Twitch Affiliate or partner, our built-in Twitch Integration can help you to lift your experience to a whole new level.[/p][p][/p][p]Twitch Integration Features:[/p][p]Our integration allows your chat to trigger multiple events in your game of Royal Revolt Survivors. [/p][p]Channel Points can be used to claim Rewards, that e.g., spawn a Healing Item, Power-up, or a powerful Enemy. So make sure you are prepared for everything that could be thrown your way![/p][p]When you’re playing solo, you can even give your viewers the power to vote for the items you gain from a level-up or upgrade through automatically triggered polls in Twitch chat.
[/p][p]Twitch Integration Setup:[/p][p]Quick and easy! Simply head into the Settings menu in game and navigate to 'Twitch Integration'. Connect your account and choose the features you want to give to your community with handy checkboxes. [/p][p]Once you confirm your selection, the required rewards will be set up automatically in your Twitch Creator Dashboard section for Channel Points. They even come with full support for all languages that are available in the game![/p][p]For a detailed step-by-step guide, check out the Royal Revolt Survivors Discord Server or head to our Twitch Integration FAQ right here.[/p][p][/p][p]Shape the Perfect Experience:[/p][p]If you want, you can customize your settings and rewards further: you can change their costs, cooldowns, etc. to perfectly tailor them to your and your community’s needs. [/p][p]The standard settings for those are a first recommendation from our side. Want to allow new viewers to participate quicker? Maybe bring down the costs for a reward. [/p][p]Looking for the thrill of the unknown? What about no cooldown on certain rewards then? Feel free to explore different options with your chat and find your personal sweet spots for an interactive streaming adventure![/p][p][/p][p]Communication is a Key to Victory:[/p][p]Your chat can be an incredible ally to support you on your adventures. Talk to them about items you try to assemble for a build, ask for help through rewards in tough situations to make it out alive, or challenge them to try and take you down in your final form![/p][p]Ready to cast that 'Livestream' spell now? Today we want to take a little dive into all the different possibilities for you to join your friends in multiplayer sessions and enter the world of Royal Revolt Survivors together. Let’s get right into it![/p][p]Even the strongest heroes may be in need of some reinforcements from time to time. When facing the forces of evil, every blade is of utmost value! This is true for the world of Royal Revolt as well. Join forces with up to 4 survivors and carve a path through waves of ravaging monsters towards your victory in jolly cooperation![/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Local Multiplayer:[/p][p]Play together in classic couch-coop style! Just connect your controllers to the PC and tap the buttons - displayed in the main menu - to add another player. If you're short on controllers or prefer good old dual-wielding, one player can join with mouse and keyboard.[/p][p]Online Multiplayer:[/p][p]Sometimes it's hard to find time to get together on the same couch. But don’t worry: we’ve got you covered! Simply click the Multiplayer button at the top in the main menu to start a multiplayer session. Use the Steam overlay to invite friends directly. They can join via the friend list as well once multiplayer is active.[/p][p]But what about both? Both is good, right? That’s exactly what we thought as well![/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Combined Local and Online Multiplayer:[/p][p]Our system offers full flexibility here, too! Whether it's two players on the couch and two online, three couch players with a fourth joining online, or any other combination - It's all possible! Start the multiplayer, and invite the friends that are joining online. And if both of you have a buddy sitting next to you as well? Easy! Just press the prompted button on your additional gamepad(s). Another player will be added, allowing easy play with multiple people through one account.[/p][p]Once all players have joined, everyone selects their character. Be careful though, as each character may only be picked once. When you are done drafting your team, select the map you want to play and jump right into the action![/p][p]During your sessions, you’ll have to strategically decide how to share equipment and resources. Have an eye on your teammates as well! If a warrior fades, you can resurrect them to join the fight once more! Look out for your fellow squad members so all of you survive and emerge victorious.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]But no matter if you live or die: All the progress you achieve together is shared for Quests and of course everyone gets all that sweet Gold you gathered to return even stronger for your next adventure.[/p][p]What are you waiting for? This dark energy has swept across the land, corrupting all it touches. The people and creatures have turned against each other, driven by madness and violence. The once-fertile lands have become battlefields, echoing with cries of despair and chaos.[/p][p][/p][p]In this time of turmoil, only the mightiest warriors stand unaffected, banding together to combat the dark menace. Old rivalries are forgotten as the warriors unite, even enlisting former enemies to their cause.[/p][p][/p][p]Or in other words: say 'hi' to the very first issue of our update series 'Royal Revolt Roundup', but also to our first bunch of mighty warriors, that you can embody in the game from October 15. So, let's get started without further ado![/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][h3]The King[/h3][p]His Majesty is no longer the young prince of old tales, but time has only made him more resolute and only heightens his longing for adventure and battle. The world calls for a leader, and he answers with courage, wielding his trusty sword. His presence inspires hope among the warriors and rekindles the spirit of resistance.[/p]

[p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][h3]Mina[/h3][p]Beside the King stands Mina the Advisor, known for her sharp mind and strategic brilliance. Her counsel has guided the world through many storms, but now her boomerang becomes as vital as her wisdom. She fights with precision, her every move calculated to turn the tide in their favor.[/p]

• [p]Weapon: Boomerang (Returns to Mina and collects pickups)[/p]
• [p]Ability: Backpack (Allows storing food for later use)[/p]

[p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][h3]Sam[/h3][p]From the Enchanted Woods comes Sam, a Satyr with a mischievous grin and a heart full of melody. His harp resonates with the magic of the forest, summoning creatures to aid their cause. Sam’s connection to nature allows him to channel its strength, bringing harmony to the chaos around him.[/p]

• [p]Weapon: Gaia Harp (Summons razor-sharp leaves that circle Sam)[/p]
• [p]Ability: Satyrical Symphony (Slowly heals all nearby warriors)[/p]

[p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][h3]Christa[/h3][p]Hailing from the Glacial Northland, Christa, daughter of the Viking chieftain Ulfar, is the embodiment of youthful strength. She carries her tribe's legacy with her mighty Viking Hammer, leading the charge against the undead that roam the icy plains. Her spirit is as fierce as the northern winds, unyielding in the face of danger.[/p]

• [p]Weapon: Viking Hammer (Smashes and stuns enemies in front of Christa)[/p]
• [p]Ability: Berserker Rage (Drastically increases the attack speed)[/p]
