Big Game Changes
[h3] Complete UI Overhaul, Steam Achievments, Redesigned puzzles with minimal text and more![/h3]
- Completely changed the UI, including the Main Menu, Settings, Lobby, and in-game interactions.
- Added the microphone sensitivity threshold and screen brightness adjustment menus when launching the game for the first time.
- Added Steam Achievements to the Demo.
- Removed Tutorials and the Single-Player Mode.
- Removed most instruction text from puzzles.
- Added a meter that shows if the player is making noise, whether walking, talking, or interacting.
- Enabled players to choose which house to start in.
- Made the Ghost hide the item you are holding when you get caught.
- Made the player character place a red footprint at the last location heard by the Ghost.
- Added loading screens with game tips.
Changes
- Added hints next to puzzles.
- Added a TV with game tips.
- Added extra Drawers in the environment.
- Made highlighting of other players animated.
- Added a strikethrough on puzzle names when they are solved.
- Made the timer and Ghost anger status always visible.
- Changed the anger icon to be more intuitive, clearly indicating the current AI state.
- Added sounds and animations for locks and doors when they fail to open.
- Shortened patrol bumps and made her wait only +1 second instead of +3 before moving again.
- Reduced the wait time in corners before moving.
- Increased the noise range for players' actions. ( The Ghost can now hear you farther).
- Added a smooth crouch animation.
- Replaced "Alpha Beta Bernard Franck" from the frames and safe puzzle with symbols.
- The host can now kick a player and ban them from the lobby.
- You can now hold movement keys to choose or rotate dials or buttons when interacting with puzzles.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue where the Ghost Girl intro sequence turned off your mic, requiring you to press V to reactivate it.
- Fixed the ladder animation not working.
- Fixed a bug where making noise in certain areas could cause the Ghost Girl to get stuck.
- Fixed a bug where dropping from the ladder opening then crouching didn't make noise.
