Bugtopia has officially been out for one week!
Over the past week, we've received a wide variety of feedback and suggestions. Thanks to all your support and encouragement, our dev bugs are more motivated than ever! Compared to the 1.0 launch version, the current Bugtopia has seen improvements in many areas—thank you so much!

Many players have also shared their hopes for future updates, including new features and more bugs. We've taken note of them all! Once we've prioritized and resolved the most pressing issues, we'll do our best to meet your expectations.

We've also noticed recent issues with the save system, and we're taking them very seriously. We're actively working to optimize this system and make the game more stable.

Here's a look at what's been changed in the past couple of days:

• Fixed an issue where certain synergy effects were not working correctly
  
• Fixed incorrect growth progress display for some bugs
  
• Fixed incorrect placement marker for the Pink lotus
  
• Fixed sound error for certain baby bug

• Balanced growth values for some bugs
  
• Balanced income from certain bugs
  
• Improved sound samples for the Treehopper
  

• Added a feature to automatically load a backup save if the main save encounters an issue
  
• Added automatic deletion for corrupted save files

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and have immediately begun investigating the issue.[/p][p][/p][p]At this time, we are unable to confirm whether the problem stems from Steam Cloud sync errors or a bug in the game's save system. To ensure your gameplay experience is not affected, we’ve released an emergency update enabling local auto-backup for save files. If you encounter save issues, you can quickly restore your data by following the steps below.[/p][p][/p][h2]How to Restore Backup Saves[/h2][p][/p][h3]Step 1: Locate the Save File Directory[/h3][p]Path:[/p][p]C:\Users\[Your Username]\AppData\LocalLow\Nocturnal Games\Bugtopia[/p][p]Or click Open Save Folder from the in-game menu.[/p][p][/p][h3]Step 2: Delete the Corrupted Save File[/h3][p]Find the current (broken) save file named:[/p][p]SaveFile.es3[/p][p]Delete it manually.[/p][p][/p][h3]Step 3: Enable Local Backup Save[/h3][p]The files SaveFile_Backup_xx.es3 are local backups.[/p][p]Choose one and rename it to:[/p][p]SaveFile.es3[/p][p][/p][p][/p][h2]Important Notes[/h2]

1. [p] Before replacing any files, we recommend backing up the entire save folder to prevent data loss.[/p]

4. [p] Please disable Steam Cloud sync to prevent Steam from restoring the corrupted save file. Here’s how to disable it:[/p]
