0.28.4 QoL Improvements & bugfixes!

Thank you to everyone who bought SOUL PARK this week!

This launching week has been very fulfilling for me as I've been able to hear some feedback from you and as promised on SOUL PARK's instagram page @soul_park_cledu, I'm back with a little update to address some of the issues you guys discovered! Hope you all enjoy building your beautiful parks while I work on a bigger update 😏

[h3]QoL IMPROVEMENTS
[/h3]
- added more contrast to the dancefloor minigame for accessibility
- you can now use keys to move around the park in bird view
- double clicking to load a save now works even when another save is open
- a progress bar is now shown for achievements with numerical values
- added a button to show/hide rides cycles
- added keybinding for tools and the new hide/show cycles button

[h3]BALANCE CHANGES

- hype now takes into account what percentage of rides are working // if your park has 0 working rides, no one will enter!
- reduced the spawn rate for tears of corruption
- lowered the experience given when cleaning a trash pile from 5 to 3 XP
- increased security camera view range

[h3]BUGFIXES
[/h3]
- fixed rides' fun and reliability values not being loaded properly resulting in them breaking more often or giving 0 fun to customers
- fixed customer selection selecting corruption instead
- customers cannot throw trash while quitting the park anymore
- fixed customer spawning queue not being cleared after the choices minigame
- fixed some weird interactions with the gamepad in the main menu
- fixed the chef hat achievement not appearing on Steam

- fixed bottom left arrow button not reacting upon interaction
- fixed settings screen not always displaying saving options correctly
- fixed gamepad compatibility for the main menu
- fixed path placer UI being blocking the view of satanas's critique textbox
- roller coaster fixes:
* fixed lavamatic pillars not appearing
* fixed lavamatic wagons not appearing
* fixed roller coasters having no rail at all if edited after moving it
* fixed last rail orientation
* fixed not being able to move roller coaster on its previous instance's rails

God is NOT happy with you! He put a curse on you and Satanas and now you're both doomed to rebuild your park over and over again! This is no easy task, as you will have to earn every piece of the new and improved progress tree all by yourself! Will you succeed and thrive nonetheless?

PATCH NOTES


[h3]NEW - LEGACY GAME MODE[/h3]
Legacy is a time limited game mode: you have 13 in-game days (= 13 minutes) to build a park. On the 14th day, the park is destroyed and you have to start over, keeping only your player level, unlocked products, and completed achievements. This is to encourage players to try different approaches and better manage their park.
In a future update, additional rewards and statistics will be given at the end of a cycle.
- added a button to access legacy from the main menu
- made an exclusive introduction for the legacy game mode
- made an exclusive screen and exclusive titles for legacy
- added a button to delete legacy progress in the main menu (NO GAMEPAD SUPPORT YET)
- saving is automatic in legacy. There is no manual save button.

[h3]REWORKED - PROGRESS TREE[/h3]
- now includes themed objects sorted by categories
- player needs to reach landmark levels to unlock themes
- path tiles are also unlocked when reaching these landmarks
- player avatar is used to show progress
- optimized performances
- made the scene's canvas bigger
- added the ability to zoom/unzoom inside the canvas

- corrupted zones are now displayed using 3D spheres instead of 2D planes to better show their area of ​​effect
- corruption tears and guardians now spawn further away from each other and from the gate
- Added visual and sound feedback when a good customer is admitted in the choices minigame
