0.4.0 Patchnotes

New Node Events

Four new node events have been added. Enhance the Mushtower, upgrade your hats, and find special rewards!

Additionally, in the existing event Kidnapper Baneka, you can now "pass off" an ally card.
Adjustments
  • "Fighting Rooster" now inflicts "Bleed".
  • "Mammoth" movement speed decreased.
  • "Armadillo" now only receives a fixed amount of healing. Dedicated "Artifact" also changed.
  • "Snowy Owl" cost reduced.
  • "Brave Baby Pig" health increased.


Adjustments
  • In the event "Kidnapper Baneka", you can now pass off 1 unit.
  • Boss/Sub-boss HP UI position adjusted based on awakening status.


Bug Fixes
  • Fixed an issue where "New Mortarboard" was not working.
  • Fixed an issue where the crown "Cake Crown" did not activate under certain conditions.
  • Fixed an issue where ally "Phoenix" remained enlarged after revival when "Ready to Call" was applied.

  • Fixed an issue where the artifact Rainbow did not summon allies when used with specific skills or artifacts.
  • Fixed an issue where Tomatop could push allies and move in Stage 8.
  • Fixed an issue where the new hat effect did not appear on Mortar Board.
  • Fixed an issue where the stat increase/decrease icon for Phoenix did not display correctly.
  • Fixed an issue where the artifact Coffee Bean could stack its effect on Phoenix.
  • Fixed an issue where the exclusive artifact Sandbag for Stormer Mole also activated on the traitor Stormer Mole.
  • Fixed an issue where the hat worn by the enemy Venomuscle was not visible.

Forest Heroes Roadmap Update

Hello, this is Hoochoo Game Studios.

Today, we would like to share updates on the progress and revisions of the roadmap we shared during the Early Access launch.

First, the planned four new battle themes have been fully implemented, and the Oak Tree stage has been revamped with new enemies.

Additionally, although not originally planned, we have introduced an update adding over 40 new artifacts.

Instead of focusing on keybinding, we have decided that adding new content would be more beneficial for improving the experience and gathering feedback. As a result, the new unit additions originally planned for April will be moved up and included in the next patch.

Look forward to meeting new animal friends in Forest Noctful!

*The Cobra has taken the purple color, and the existing Tentacle Snake’s color has been changed.

Stage 2 & 4 Theme: Vines

The vine theme has been added to stages 2 and 4.
This theme introduces various obstacles, such as pulling in ranged allies and preventing players from using cards.



Changes
- The Safari Hat will no longer appear when you have a Machete.
- The first 3 cards from the Frozen Clown Mushroom will no longer include cards that cost HP.
