Explore the Systres & Unlock Rewards During the Heroes of High Isle Event

Join forces with your fellow adventurers during the Heroes of High Isle Event to unlock new rewards for all who venture into the Systres.
Explore High Isle Together
The Heroes of High Isle in-game event kicks off this Thursday, September 29 at 10:00AM EDT, and runs until Tuesday, October 11 at 10:00AM EDT. During the event period, you can come together with your fellow players and work with them to unlock amazing rewards by earning the High Isle Pathfinder achievement.

To earn the Pathfinder achievement, gather an intrepid band of explorers (or go it solo) and explore High Isle by visiting all six of the unique striking locales in the zone. No, we won’t tell you where these specific locations are, but your Achievements menu might have hints! In addition, all those who have already earned the High Isle Pathfinder achievement prior to this event can still contribute to the meter’s progress. We’ll update the meter on September 29 to immediately include all users who already completed this achievement.

Explore beautiful High Isle

Every day, we’ll update the meter found on the Heroes of High Isle page with the community’s progress. The more explorers who complete the Achievement, the quicker the community meter will fill up, increasing the rewards. Once the meter reaches 100% or the event reaches its end, we’ll add the currently unlocked rewards to the Crown Store (in a single bundle) for ALL owners of the High Isle Chapter to claim for free!

Here's the rewards you can unlock at each stage:
  • 33%—Oak’s Promise markings
  • 66%—Plant Yourself emote
  • 100%—Ascendant Hoard Box
  • 100%—Appleback Salamander pet (ESO Plus members only)
  • 100%—Bonus mystery reward to be revealed during the Legacy of the Bretons Autumn Event Stream!

Unlock these rewards and more

The Ascendant Hoard Box includes a host of reward containers within containers that grant you a heap of in-game items, including:
  • Undaunted Plunder and Undaunted Keys
  • Tel Var Stones
  • Outfit Change Tokens
  • Crafting writs
  • Riding Lessons
  • Transmute Crystals
  • High-level companion gear
    • Including legendary-quality companion jewelry
  • High Isle item sets
  • Unattuned Crafting Stations
  • An Ascendant Lord Statue

That’s a lot of great in-game goodies you and your fellow players can earn, just by exploring beautiful High Isle!
Celebrate the Systres
While you complete quests and explore High Isle, you can also earn bonus rewards from the zone itself. Pick up the Heroes of High Isle introductory quest titled "The Island Tour," from the in-game Crown Store or Impresario tent to begin.

During the event period, the first time you complete a daily quest in High Isle (or the Dreadsail Reef trial weekly quest instead) you receive a Society of the Steadfast's Largesse Coffer. This new reward box has a chance to contain some of the following items:
  • Guaranteed chance for random crafting materials
  • Guaranteed chance for a High Isle treasure
  • Guaranteed chance for a style item for High Isle motifs
  • Guaranteed chance for a High Isle overland set item
  • Guaranteed chance for companion gear
    • Ember or Isobel must be your active companion
  •  Chance for one of the following:
    • High Isle furnishings
    • High Isle furnishing recipe
    • High Isle Treasure Map or Survey Report
    • High Isle motif page
  • Small chance for a tradeable page of the new Oaken Order armor style

Unlock bonus rewards by questing and exploring

For each daily quest you complete after the first, you earn Society of the Steadfast's Munificence Coffers, which contain similar items but offers a smaller chance to contain the rarer rewards.

You can also acquire Society of the Steadfast's Munificence Coffers through the following methods:
  • Delve and World bosses
  • Dreadsail Reef non-final bosses
  • Dreadsail Reef final boss
  • Volcanic vents
  • Basepop enemies
  • Opening treasure chests
  • Opening safeboxes
  • In clickables
  • Psijic portals
  • Thieves troves
  • Crafting resource nodes
  • Pickpocketing

But that’s not all! Both the High Isle daily quests and the weekly Dreadsail trial quest offer DOUBLE their regular non-event reward boxes. In addition, during the event period, the zone’s harvest node yields are increased, and world bosses, public dungeon bosses, trial bosses, and delve bosses throughout High Isle ALL drop additional rewards.
Impresario & Event Tickets
During the Heroes of High Isle event, you can earn up to two Event Tickets per day the first time you complete a High Isle zone daily quest. In total, you can collect 26 tickets by the end of the event. Just remember: You can hold up to 12 Event Tickets at any one time, so if you earn more while already at the ticket cap, you’ll lose them!

After amassing your trove of precious Event Tickets, head on over to the Impresario event merchant and exchange them for these enticing rewards:
  • All three Soulfire Dragon Illusion pet fragments
    • Hallowed Hourglass Basin
    • Illuminated Dragon Scroll
    • Kvatchian Incense
  • All three fragments for the Daggerfall Paladin Outfit
    • Blessed Rubedite Enamel
    • Captured Dragonflame
    • Sanctified Metalworking Tools

The Elder Scrolls Online: Firesong & Update 36 Preview

Delve into the mysteries of the druids and get an early look at the final phase of the Legacy of the Bretons year-long adventure.
The Elder Scrolls Online: Firesong
Arriving November 1 on PC/Mac and Stadia, and November 15 for Xbox and PlayStation consoles, The Elder Scrolls Online: Firesong will continue and expand upon the ongoing Legacy of the Bretons saga and provide bonus quests concluding the year-long adventure. This story DLC allows you to explore the island of Galen, dive deep into the culture and histories of Tamriel’s druids, and bring an end to a larger narrative that began back in February with the Ascending Tide dungeon DLC and continued throughout all of 2022.

Explore the Home of the Druids

In Firesong, you can explore Galen, one of the four islands of the Systres Archipelago. Abundant and fertile, this isolated isle northwest of High Isle has long served the druid circles of the Systres. Galen features overgrown forests, inhospitable jungles, snaking lava rivers, woodland spirits, and creatures unique to this part of Tamriel. It’s not only the druids who call this island home, however, as House Mornard and their southern port city of Vastyr provides a lone bastion of civilization (at least as far the Bretons of High Isle see it) among the untamed wilds.

Galen concept art

While you explore and dive deep into lore of the druids and Galen, you’ll encounter no shortage of challenges, including new world bosses, delves, volcanic vents, and standalone quests, too. A whole new island of adventure awaits!

A War Among Circles

Despite its shared legacy as a home to all druids, Galen’s people find themselves mired in conflict. The Firesong Circle (first encountered within the Lost Depths DLC) have attacked their fellow Stonelore and Eldertide druids, while House Mornard simultaneously suffers relentless raids from Sea Elf pirates. In the face of these two growing threats, you must defend the people of Galen, investigate the motives behind these attacks, and put a stop to them before their chaos can spread to the rest of the Systres.

New enemies, challenges, and allies await

Save the Systres (and Tamriel)

While Firesong features a standalone story, should you complete the main questlines for both this DLC and the High Isle Chapter, you’ll unlock additional bonus quests that bring the Legacy of the Bretons year-long saga to its conclusion. Throughout your journeys in Galen, you will piece together the events of all of 2022’s DLC and Chapter content to finally uncover and confront the Ascendant Lord himself. Do not fear, for you’ll be joined by familiar and new allies in this final adventure that will take you deep into the very heart of the volcanic isle of Y’ffelon!

Conclude your Legacy of the Bretons adventure
New Patron Deck
Also arriving as part of the Firesong DLC is the newest Tales of Tribute patron—the Druid King! This all-new patron rewards you for achieving hefty combos with their deck, and the order by which you play your cards is vital to ensure you get the best possible result.

The Druid King Patron

You’ll unlock fragments of the Druid King Patron deck by completing a wide range of activities within Galen, but note that to the unlock the ability to play Tales of Tribute (and your new patron) you’ll need access to the High Isle Chapter, too.
Update 36
Releasing alongside Firesong, the Update 36 base-game patch will bring balance changes, bug fixes, and features completely free for all of ESO’s players! These additions include a tool that allows you to place target markers on enemies, a text-to-speech accessibility option, the ability to hide class pets in towns (no more bears crowding crafting stations!), and a number of changes to make it easier to share and visit homes.

These Housing improvements include the ability to create chat links to your homes, improved visibility in whose house you're visiting as well as how many people are present in a home, the ability to see the list of furnishings in a home that you are visiting, and improved placement alignment for hundreds of furnishings that commonly hang on walls—phew!
Coming to the PTS!
If you’d like to experience Firesong and Update 36’s new content and improvements early, you can help us improve the release AND get a hands-on look at everything by logging into the Public Test Server starting Monday, September 19! To play on the PTS, enable the playtesting build from the Settings menu within the PC/Mac ESO launcher by toggling the “Show Public Test Environment” option. Then, you will be able to download and access the test environment once it is live. Be sure to leave feedback and report any bugs you come across by typing “/feedback” or “/bug” in chat.
A Legacy Concludes
An untamed new island to explore, dangerous new foes and challenges to confront, a new Patron deck to master and much more is coming with The Elder Scrolls Online: Firesong and Update 36. We’ve only just begun to tease what’s in store for the Systres Archipelago and the Legacy of the Breton’s final adventure for 2022, so keep an eye on elderscrollsonline.com for more between now and Firesong’s launch.
