Beta Update - Remaining Repeatable Contracts

[p]Adventurers,[/p][p][/p][p]The beta branch has now been updated with the remaining repeatable contracts discussed in the previous update.[/p][p][/p][p]This includes new contracts for the following types:[/p]
  • [p]Bandits[/p]
  • [p]Demons[/p]
  • [p]Goblins (The remaining 80%)[/p]
  • [p]Undead
    [/p]
[p]This increases the quantity of available contracts by over 70% from what is currently on live not including the repeatability of the contracts. This also impacts all towns that provide contracts, as only some types of contracts will show up in specific locations based on the regions.

Several contracts have also been moved around but with the change to the contract system it shouldn't impact the gameplay too much and some were kept to maintain some of the variety despite the region.[/p][p]

Beta Update - Repeatable Contracts and Contract Changes

[p]Adventurers,[/p][p][/p][p]A new beta branch update has been pushed for patch 0.9.0 this adds the feature of repeatable contracts fully into the game.[/p][p][/p][p]For now this initial batch can be found in the forest biome specifically around medium and hard difficulty goblin and orc contracts. This is the first component to the repeatable contracts being added since now that the tech is available expect to see a lot entering into the game next week across all the locations.[/p][p][/p][p]For the full patch notes you can find them here.[/p][p][/p][p]The repeatable contracts will have a chance to reappear after a set amount of time. Currently at least 7 days for many of them. You will also see a much smaller list of contracts available for grabbing in each town that rotates daily but the list has been prioritized to show the contracts that you can take over ones that you cannot.[/p][p][/p][p]Also, several contracts have been moved around in preparation for some of the final location based threats. This isn't fully completed yet, but you will see some of the changes in the overall gameplay early on.[/p][p][/p][p]As mentioned, these contracts are more simplified, and less story driven in their details but in next week's patch there will be many more really fleshing out location specific areas.

Thanks again for your patience and hope to get a lot more in now that the feature is complete and more content can be added. Due to this it may sit on the beta branch an extra week while the content is added to and tuned.[/p]

Live Update - Combat and Polish Update and Updated Demo

[p]Adventurers,[/p][p]The combat update has now gone to the live branch with the AOE updates and various combat improvements and fixes.[/p][p]The full patch notes can be found here.[/p][p][/p][p]The demo version of the game has also been updated with all the updates from the current patch cycle. This will likely be the last demo update to get the overall feel of the game for a while. With the update to some of the content in the game the current format gives a good preview but not the full extent of the experience.

Quick Update and Major Update 5 Preview

With some of the latest updates for "Update 4" now being completed and right now in polish mode behind the scenes just wanted to give a big thanks to everyone who has made suggestions on the forums and called out issues and bugs that they ran into. If you see any more please speak up while this polish pass is going on.[/p][p][/p][p]With that I wanted to give a bit of a preview of what Update 5 the last major originally planned update will contain.[/p][p][/p]

  • [p]Additional UI Polish (especially due to multi language support)[/p]

Beta Update - AOE Updates, Combat Updates, Live - Additional Maps

[p]Adventurers,
[/p][p]A new update has now been pushed to the beta branch with the much requested feature of targeting empty tiles during AOE attacks. However just because you now have this massive advantage, planning your attacks is even more important because you can hit your own allies now. This should provide with man more combat opportunities but make sure to use the attacks wisely for moves like wide swings, fireballs and ice storms to name a few.[/p][p]


Additionally, several quality of life requests have entered the game such as iron ingots and leather hide stacks now maxing at 99 instead of 9 as well as for those who have purchased mounts to feed them all at once in the stables.[/p][p][/p][p]For the full patch notes check them out here

The live branch now has the updates from last week updating several of the maps and some fixes to more fonts for different languages.[/p][p]
