V0.1.4 out now! New Sculpling and More!

[h2]Update Version 0.1.4![/h2]


Major Changes:
  • NEW FOOD SCULPLING for the GRASSLANDS area

  • New moves for Turnroot

  • Most Grasslands Sculplings now start with 3 moves

  • Temp stat changes are now shown in battle HUD

  • Fix clipping issue on New Sculpling Discovered screen

  • More balancing- starting area monsters are quicker to level up, tougher zone 2 bosses, lots of small data changes to Sculplings.

Update: v0.1.3 !

Hey everyone! First of all I just wanna say thank you all SO much for the support with the launch this week! I know there's still a lot to be done but it means so much to me to see all the positive feedback the game has been getting! So excited for all that's to come with the game- I hope you are too!

Changes:



  • Permanent Bait as an option in the Apple Shop

  • The Apple Shop now sells additional items

  • Start with 5 bait instead of 7

  • Boss battle balancing: new boss Sculplings in an attempt to make the difficulty ramp more gradual.

  • Fix 'Bait Bundle' item

  • Fix 'Reload Gun' move


I did some balance work on the bosses to try to make the difficulty of the run more gradual. Right now I feel like there are issues with the game's difficulty kinda jumping all over the place? I think the difficulty balance will be an ongoing back-and-forth. I'd be curious to hear your thoughts on the game's difficulty!

Next week: New FOOD Sculpling for the GRASSLANDS and new buff/debuff icons in battle!

Game Release/ Next Steps!

Great news! Sculplings is now available for download!

Lee and I have been working on this project for over a year and, although there's still plenty to do, we're excited to finally take this major step and have it available to download!

We're super proud of the work we've done on this game so far, but there's still a lot I want to add before my vision for this project is complete :)

You can look forward to new Sculplings added to the game every TWO weeks(the first new one is already coming next week!) as well as TONS of additional content Lee and I are working on!

The current short term plan for Sculplings is as follows:

SCULPLINGS RELEASING IN EARLY ACCESS Feb 11th!!!

Hey everyone! I'd like to make a quick announcement that Lee and I's new game: **SCULPLINGS **will be releasing on Steam Early Access **February 11th**!!

We've been working hard on this game for close to two years and I'm SUPER excited to start to get it out there and build it to its fullest potential (with the help of your feedback!)

Thanks for all the support you guys have shown for the game already through the beta, it's been really motivating to hear your ideas and thoughts on the game. I think this game will really be something special :)

First Trailer Out Now!!

Great news!

The first official trailer for Sculplings is out now!! This is a very general 'overview' trailer that shows the various gameplay elements seen throughout the game! Watch it now on the game's Steam Store Page! (And don't forget to wishlist while you're there ;) )

Excited to finally reach this milestone and show off more of the game. I think we've finally got the game mechanics down pretty solid and we're working hard to get an early demo out very very soon!
