v0.9.5: Hall of Fame! Bug fixes, QOL

[p]In this update:[/p][p][/p]
  • [p]HALL OF FAME: After defeating a member of the Big Five, the team you defeated them with will now be forever memorialized in the HALL OF FAME! You can access the hall of fame in the hub world. Note: This is a new thing we're only just starting to track with this update, so unfortunately any player who has beaten one of the big five already won't have their previous team saved and you'll have to beat that opponent again to get them in the Hall of Fame. [/p]
  • [p]Wishing Well Event: There is a new event added to the pool of possible events you can run into[/p]
[p]Bug fixes: [/p]
  • [p]Fix broken wizard event[/p]
  • [p]fix pp depletion not working properly with opponent monsters[/p]
  • [p]Fix leaving and entering shop exploit[/p]
  • [p]Fix spikey swap pin keeping dialog box on screen[/p]
  • [p]A bunch of other small tweaks and fixes to small visual bugs[/p]
[p][/p][p]Next up: At this point we're pretty much just focused on bug fixing and QOL improvements, continue to let me know if there's anything you want added to the game and I'll try to add it in before launch! [/p][p][/p][p]Price Increase: Since the game has all the content we plan to launch with, I'm planning on increasing the price to $11 next week after the Winter Sale (probably on January 5th). The final price of the game at launch will be $12, so you'll be able to get it $1 cheaper while I work on fixing the final bugs in the game. Let me know if this seems unreasonable. [/p]

  • [p] Event Improvements!: We've added a new "story system" to some of the game's EVENTS. What this means is some events "Progress" as you run into them more and more. You'll see what I mean ;) In addition, we've added one more event(one more on its way) and more deals with Lucifer.[/p]
  • [p]Two New Achievements[/p]
  • [p]Bug Fixes: Most currently reported bugs are now fixed! [/p][p]- Specific list:[/p]
    • [p]"Blood Lust Pin" now fixed[/p]
    • [p]Fix softlock at 'Su Chef Jane' fight[/p]
    • [p]Fix Inventory full popup showing one item "too late"[/p]
    • [p]Fix Lucifer event not working with only one team member[/p]
    • [p]Fix broken Yolkon Wild Encounter[/p]
  • [p]Add new ability for King's "Star Sculpling"[/p]

  • [p]We are wrapping up development on the game, so if you have any QOL features/ general game improvements you really want to see please let me know now either here or through the in game feedback button! If I think it'll fit well with the design and have time to add it I will! Otherwise will have to come post launch if the game does well. [/p]

Update: v0.9.2 | New Unlockable Starter Sculpling!

[p]In this update:[/p][p]- New Unlockable Starter Sculpling!: We've added the FINAL unlockable Sculpling to the Laboratory! This Sculpling, once unlocked, will be added to the possible pool of Starter Sculplings[/p][p]- Bug Fixes: We're continuing to work heavily on the reported bugs, most of what has been reported is fixed in this update. Specifically:[/p][p][/p]
  • [p]Fix move ability calculations not being correct after recent update[/p]
  • [p]Fix Super Shady Guy not having a Shiny version[/p]
  • [p]Fix 'Hive MInd' Move[/p]
  • [p]Fic "Succumb to Darkness" move[/p]
  • [p]Fix run not "ending" properly when defeat KING[/p]

Update v0.9.2!

  • [p]KING battle rework: King now has multiple abilities throughout his battle, along with more advanced AI and new move sets for his monsters. This is meant to make him more difficult without just lazily raising his stats. Lmk what you think![/p]
  • [p]More powerful basic moves: many late game basic moves have had their power drastically increased to make them more viable against the final bosses of the game(without making those bosses too easy) A few more to come[/p]
  • [p]Defense rework: I have reworked some final evolution monster defense stats to make them more useful at final boss fights. I want to avoid a dominant strategy of only having one real tanky monster and make some of your other monsters more viable in late game fights. This will be an ongoing thing I will tweak but it's a start!, let me know what you think :)[/p]
  • [p]Fix 'Endless Strike' move[/p]
  • [p]Fix shiny starter sculplings not being added to glossary properly[/p]
  • [p]The final apple shop(right before Big 5 boss fights) now have some more set items instead of all of them being random[/p]

  • [p]Fix Softlock at 'Butte Monstrosity' fight[/p]
