v0.4 major patch (new zone!)
Hello everyone, the first major update, version 0.4 is now live! Language patch will come soon, by the end of next week.
Each major update brings a new zone into the game, and whichever QoL improvements, bugfixes and tweaks I managed to squeeze in during development. Below is a full list of changes. Gl hf!
Changelog:
New Content:
- Lava Zone completed, with 42+ new cards to get and a new Tama DNA
(if the Zone doesn't show up on the world map, go to the Card Shop and talk to Patch again)
New Features:
- Deck test, (Test!) button in the lower-left corner of the deck editor - you can test your deck against a dummy enemy deck directly from the editor
- Field Rule setting (Classic/Limit. 'Limit' makes the max number of Tama on the field 1 at the start of duel, and it's increased by 1 each round (up to 6))
- Expanded Card Shop (deckbuilders' area)
- Sprites (Fire, Water, Earth, Native) have dedicated fusions now
QoL:
- AI tweaks (enemy may take longer to decide actions now, if it's too long, reduce the Enemy Intelligence in settings for now)
- Album direct keyboard/joystick support (removed mouse emulation)
- Deck editor: L2/R2 can be used to switch between elements now
- Kobolith trigger clarification (and new keyword, for effects going through Firewall)
Balancing:
- Starter deck tweaks (made them a bit more useful/stronger in general)
- Enemy deck tweaks (a bit less Buffer Overflows in general)
- Talfou DNA tweak
Card Changes:
- Buffer Overflow: gives foe 1 extra action after cancelling their card
- Carnee: Cost is Any energy instead of Native
- Nurturing Light: +2 energy instead of +1
- Anchory: +1 energy instead of +2 on delete
- Devibom: summons a [Bomb] instead of dealing 2 dmg on summon
- Sponge: -2 BP instead of -1, and it inflicts Dampened too
- Slimee: same as Sponge (since that's its trigger)
- Anurot: costs 5 energy instead of 6
- Barrier: +2 energy instead of +1
- Tree of Life/Suntreia/Mithree: can revive Shredded Tama too
- Crable: gets +1/+1 instead of no bonus
- Salafir: inflicts 2 damage instead of 1
- Max Salafir: inflicts 4 damage instead of 2
Next up, I'll begin working on the next (2) Zones, the Mountain Zone and the new town area. These 2 zones will come out at the same time, so the next major update will take a bit longer to come out. In the meantime, there will be at least one minor update, with translations, bugfixes and QoL.
